Chapter 9.3

MAVI was trying to enjoy those three minutes of waltz with Reign but he couldn't get Vesper out of his head. Mas masaya sana kung si Vesper ang babaeng isinasayaw niya ngayon. Although, Reign was his friend and he once fell in love with her, but damn, iba pa rin talaga kapag si Vesper ang kasama niya—the mother of his child and the woman he would die to be with for the rest of his life.

"Masaya ako na kasama kita ngayong gabi, Mavi," nakangiting sambit ni Reign.

Mavi forced a smile and lied to her, "Me as well."

"I'm so lucky na ikaw ang naging partner ko. You're a good dancer," Reign complimented him.

"Well, thank you," nasabi na lang niya.

As much as Mavi wanted to disagree with her but he can't. Reign wouldn't have been his partner if she didn't block his way through Vesper. Uh. When this party will be over? Boy, he's so sick of pretending to be happy all the time but deep inside, he's just being forced to get along with Reign.

He wanted to leave right here and then.
