Alina

I was FUCKED.

If I thought I was fucked in the day, now it was worse than before. What was this? Was this karma coming back to bite me in the ass in its own unforgiving way? But for what reason?

I threw on my clothes and lastly, sunshades. The last thing I wanted was to be caught in public with Sebastian. Not with the endless number of paparazzi that seemed to have taken an unnecessary interest in me.

“I am going out for a little while” I called out to Charles who sat casually on his favorite chair, flipping through pages of a book.

“But it's quite late”  He protested and stood up from the chair, taking off his reading glasses. I could see in his eyes that he did not approve of it.

“I won't be gone long, I am just going for a walk, I need to clear my head”I said as if I had every right to do so.

“Are you sure you are alright Alina?” He asked with a worried expression.

“Yeah, why wouldn't I be? But I will even be better when I take this walk” I answered and headed out of the building before he could protest further.

I took my car contrary to what I said about going for a walk.  And when I got inside La Casa, it wasn't hard to spot him casually glancing through his phone and the watch around his wrist.

“Just on time,” He said when I finally reached him. His face was plain, with no trace of emotion at all. As always. I thought.

“What do you want?” I barked, still standing.

“Sit” He pointed to the empty chair opposite to him.

I fought the urge to roll my eyes and tell him that I wasn't one of his subjects, not anymore. But I didn't, that would only means going back and forth, I didn't have the time.

I sat. “So...” I stared at his face. Waiting for him to continue.

He put his phone back into his pocket. “I have good news for you” He started. That was never a good sign. Whatever is going on with him now, it must be bad news.

“You will marry me” It didn't sound like he was asking, it sounded like he was telling me. A declaration.

“No way” I scoffed. How dare he think I would actually marry him after threatening me? Who did he think he was?

“Don't play with me, Alina. You will tell your grandfather that we were lovers who lost contact, you will ask for his blessings, you will marry me and only when you give me an heir, will we be done” He said calmly as if talking to a small child.

“Never! Fuck you Sebastian” I spat.

He chuckled humorlessly and it sent the hairs on my arms and back straight up. “If you don't” He drawled. “I can assure you that you will regret this decision.”  He finished.

I felt my body starting to shake. I was angry, frustrated, and terrified of what was coming. “You are still engaged, why don't you just marry her and forget about this whole thing? What do you want from me? Didn't you say I was a whore, does your family not think the same thing? We can let this slide, we can pretend we never knew each other and we will both be fine” I Suggested.

His eyes narrowed dangerously as he leaned forward, making the space between us smaller. “And why should I agree? If I let this pass without any consequences, then you wouldn't take me seriously. A Wolfe never goes back on his words”  He declared and leaned even closer. His breath reeked of whiskey, and woody cologne that played with my nostrils. “And I won't make the mistake of letting someone else get away with breaching their contract again, you understand that, yes? Now, I am offering you one more chance to reconsider. You don't have a choice but I will give you a week to agree or else, you know how it is going to end”  He finished and sat back down.

My mind went blank.

“You are disgusting”  I growled and stood up and walked out of the building ignoring his calls for me to stay behind. My feet carried me to the parking lot. My hands fisted so tightly I could feel my nails digging into my palms.  I needed air. Needed some form of clarity. My thoughts whirled and spun until they collided and left me dizzy.

While I leaned against my car, I heard footsteps shuffle behind me.

“Hello maami” A male who looked extremely high on  something approached me slowly. “Do you need anything from me? I got whatever it is you're looking for. I can help you. I promise” He smiled. His dark blonde hair hung over his forehead as he tilted his head towards me. His voice made my stomach churn in an unpleasant way. He smiled, exposing his yellow teeth.

“No, I am good” I said immediately as I struggled to open the door  to my car and get away from this man’s sickening presence.

But he pulled me back and spun me around a little bit too roughly, his eyes skimmed my body.

“I see you looking nice tonight...” He smirked and grabbed both my wrists, pinning them above my head.

I struggled and pushed him back and he staggered easily, the effects of the drugs.

My keys slipped off my hands and somehow I couldn't tell where the hell they were.

“Now” His face darkened. “Tell me how you can pay me and we'll part ways”

I looked around and there was nobody near me. I was fucked.

“I  don't do charity cases.” I stated firmly, hiding my fears  with anger. I glared at him.

There was silence. Then he chuckled “Maybe you can be persuaded to reconsider” He laughed and tried to jump at me.

I closed my eyes, ready to scream but I didn't feel the impact coming . Instead I heard a thud.

I opened them, to discover that Sebastian was above him while the junkie was on the floor.

Sebastian punched him over and over. His punches grew increasingly faster until blood began to flow from the stranger's nose. I backed away to a corner and watched. My mind was reeling, I couldn't believe my eyes.

“Stop, stop! you'll kill him” I heard myself yell  and stepped closer to them.

But I was too afraid to  move closer. Sebastian stopped punching him suddenly. He took deep breaths and turned to look directly at me.

The rage in his eyes seemed to grow even more and when I looked back at the man on the floor, he laid there unmoving and the worst part, he was not breathing.

Alina POVMy grandfather didn’t look pleased to see me, the anger on his face only deepening as I walked through the front door of one of his penthouses with my purse in hand. This was the agreed location and also to avoid any cameras that might follow me.I smiled awkwardly at him, and he just scowled even harder. “You’re are going to tell me what is going on”“Sure I am” I agreed, sounding a little more defensive than I had intended. He wasn’t exactly known for being the forgiving type. “What is going on? First it was the sudden marriage, and now those photos? Why did you not mention them?”“I didn't know they were in existence until yesterday grandfather” I bowed my head in shame. It didn't matter how much of my past I had tried to erase, they seemed to always find their way back to me, to where they truly belonged. It didn't matter if I hid or not.He sighed, running his hand down his face “Why couldn’t you have called first? It takes time for things like this to process.”“It

Alina POVI watched him put it in his pocket. “You wouldn't be needing this for now,” he told me. I raised my brows, confused. “Why? I always need my phone, give it back” I held my hands out expectantly.“I'll give it back later,” he replied, shrugging.“Well, I don't understand what silly games you are playing this time Sebastian Wolfe but I would like my phone back this very minute, I don't care about what you think” “Fine,” he agreed and reached out for me. I flinched and jumped away as fast as I could. He frowned but he didn't say anything and I didn't know whether he actually understood or if he was simply pretending. I decided not to ask and to take my chances with it.He dropped the phone on the bed instead of handing it to me and soon he was walking towards the door. “I'm going downstairs, I'll send my chauffeur around to pick you up,”“Wait, you aren't coming?”“No” he said matter of factly. He turned around and I saw something flash across his eyes, something very dark

Alina POVThere were two things I knew for sure. First, Sebastian Wolfe was angry and whatever had annoyed him had us sitting next to each other in his private jet back to New York. And the second? I didn't give two shits, so I didn't ask.I didn't ask when we made our way back to the room we now had to share in the Wolfe's mansion even though I still thought it was unnecessary.I woke up to no sign of Sebastian by my side and I was glad I had the room to myself.I had my bath and got out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my body, my hair was still wet. The room smelled like lavender. It was my favorite smell.I moved the towel to my waist, my back turned to the door while I applied some lotion over my body. The door opened with full force but I wasn't fast enough to wrap myself up with the towel. When I turned to look at the intruder, his eyes were wide, almost comically so and he looked down at me. I felt bare even though I now had a towel over me.His eyes moved from my

  • His Contract Wife Revenge   Chapter Sixteen

Alina POVNot too long after Sebastian had left for his room, I decided to call it a night myself. I was completely spent and I needed to relax. I found his aunt by one of the tables talking with her daughters. I excused myself, telling them I was extremely tired and needed some rest.“Oh that’s understandable. Come, I’ll walk you up to your room,” Sebastian's aunt offered.I was inclined to decline but she was already getting on her feet and coming around the table to meet me. I sighed as I took her hand which she surprisingly offered me again and allowed her to lead me up the staircase. While we walked, she peppered me with some personal questions. Then she started asking me about her nephew and what I thought about him. It confused me at first but I told her the only honest thing that I could. He was quite honest with his dealings and very straight to the point.‘Oh that’s my Seb. He’s always been that way. Too uptight, doesn’t let himself relax”We were now in front of a bedroom

Sebastian POV“She’s easy on the eyes, cousin”I did not have to turn around to know it was Alex –Al as our mothers liked to call him, who had spoken. In his hand, he held a plate of food piled high. “Whose eyes?” I asked without looking at him.“Come on, it’s hard not to look”“But not impossible, try”He chuckled, recognizing my twisted sense of humor for what it was even though a part of me was serious.I looked away from him just as he picked up another piece of chicken from his plate and took a large bite.It was one of the greatest mysteries of Alex. How did he manage to eat that much and still remain fit. With his inconsistencies at the gym and several social disorders. But I knew how. Which was exactly why I was giving him the look I currently was.“What?” He laughed and struck my arm with his elbow, playfully of course.“You know what”“Relax, I’m not going to touch her. She’s your wife. Come on, man, you’ve got to give me more credit than that”Then I really looked at him a

AlinaI was suddenly nervous at the prospect of meeting his other family, I was even more confused on what exactly I was doing here.“Do you want to shower and get changed first?” Sebastian went on, unperturbed by my worries,My palms were sweaty. I indiscreetly rubbed them against my skirt while he stood there peering at me curiously like he could see through the brave mask I was trying to put on.“Actually, I was hoping to talk to you first”Sebastian only raised his brow for a second before turning around. “We’d go somewhere private”I followed him around the curve of the staircase to the hallway beyond. There were a series of doors leading out of the hallway on both sides of us. Large windows flanked the exterior walls revealing the fields around the house. I decided that if I had time to do anything else, I would walk around the grounds. Finally, Sebastian turned open a door and we descended three steps into a sunken den decorated with plush carpets and dark walls. He offered me

AlinaThe pain was immediate and excruciating but I kept myself together. I didn't cry, I didn't move, I didn't react. Not for long anyway. AlinaPanic engulfed me as I stared at the moving body, there was no way I was going to be part of a murder case, not when I had just started living, not with everything else.“What the hell have you done?
