EPISODE 1 – PART 1: “The Cold King of the Tower”
Clara POV: It’s 6:45 a.m., and the elevators of Steele Global Tower are already humming with life. The morning rush is a symphony of clicking heels, rustling papers, and the scent of expensive coffee. First day ko bilang administrative assistant sa Steele Global Enterprises—one of the biggest real estate and tech corporations sa bansa. ⸻ Alexander POV: 7:00 a.m. sharp. Alexander Steele stood by his office window, overlooking the skyline of Bonifacio Global City. The sun reflected off the glass towers surrounding his empire — cold, precise, flawless. Exactly how he liked it. He didn’t believe in luck. Only in control. “Cancel my 9 a.m. meeting,” he said without looking away from the window. “I’ll be inspecting the new project site personally.” “Yes, sir.” “Anything else?” Joanna hesitated. “We have a new assistant assigned to admin. HR said she’ll help with the—” “I don’t care,” he cut her off. “Make sure she knows how to stay invisible.” As always, Alexander’s tone was calm yet sharp—ang tipo ng boses na kahit pabulong ay may dalang utos. Walang tumututol. Walang nagtatanong. Because in Steele Global, his word was law. ⸻ Clara POV: Invisible. My heart was pounding so hard, parang gusto nang kumawala sa dibdib ko. “Sir! I’m so, so sorry!” Tahimik. Walang kumikilos. He slowly removed his blazer, ang bawat galaw niya ay maingat, kontrolado. “You must be the new assistant,” malamig niyang sabi. “And on your first day, you’ve managed to assault your CEO.” Napakagat ako ng labi. “Sir, hindi ko po sinasadya. Nadulas lang po—” “I don’t accept excuses,” putol niya agad. “Clean it up. Then, report to my office in ten minutes.” “Sir…” mahina kong simula. He didn’t look up. “Do you always announce yourself before speaking?” “Po?” Finally, tumingin siya. “When you enter this room, speak with confidence. Not fear.” “Sorry, sir. I just want to apologize again. Hindi ko po sinasadya—” “I’m aware.” He sighed, then handed me a folder. “You’ll be assisting the finance department today. Don’t make another mess.” “Yes, sir.” Habang lumalabas ako ng office, narinig ko pa siyang nagsalita, mahina pero malinaw: “Let’s see how long you’ll last.” ⸻ Alexander POV: Alexander watched her leave—small, nervous steps, but with a spark of defiance in her eyes. Most people would crumble under his tone. She didn’t. He didn’t know why that intrigued him. He opened his email, but his mind was still replaying the image of the girl holding a tray, eyes wide, apologizing like the world depended on it. “Clara Villanueva,” he murmured, checking her file. Bachelor of Arts in Communication, graduated with honors. Worked part-time in a small marketing firm. Hired last week through HR recommendation. “Unremarkable,” he muttered. Yet something about her felt… distracting. ⸻ Clara POV: The whole day was a blur. Paperworks, signatures, phone calls—lahat sabay-sabay. Hanggang sa mag-5 p.m. na, and I was still reorganizing files. “Clara,” tawag ni Mara. “Uwi na tayo!” “Wait lang, I just need to finish this report.” Napailing siya. “Grabe ka, first day pa lang, overtime agad?” We laughed, kahit halatang pagod na pareho. This episode is consists of 3 (Three) parts. I will post later The remaining 2 parts. Most employees had already gone home, but I stayed late, determined to finish the report Alexander had asked for.“Almost done…” I muttered to myself, rubbing my tired eyes.A shadow moved near the doorway. “Still here?”I jumped. “Alexander! Uh… yes, sir. I wanted to finish the report.”He stepped inside, his presence commanding yet… strangely gentle in the quiet office.“You could’ve gone home,” he said, leaning against the desk. “Why stay this late?”I shrugged, nervously fiddling with the pen in my hand. “I… wanted to make sure everything was perfect.”He studied me, eyes sharp yet unreadable. “Perfection, huh? That’s dangerous.”⸻AlexanderShe looked exhausted but determined, fingers trembling slightly as she typed. She’s still trying. Even n
EPISODE 3 – PART 1: “Playful Tension”ClaraThe next morning, I tried to psych myself up: Okay, Clara. You survived the coffee disaster. You survived the spreadsheet crisis. You can survive today. As I walked into the office, Mara waved frantically. “You won’t believe it—Sir Alexander is in a mood today. Better watch out!”I froze. “Mood?”“Yes! But… kind of playful? Dangerous playful,” she whispered, eyes wide.I gulped.Dangerous playful sounded like a category I didn’t want to survive, yet somehow I couldn’t look away.⸻AlexanderAlexander Steele strode into the office with his usual aura of calm authority—but there was a subtle curve to his lips that hinted at mischief. He scanned the room, eyes falling on Clara immediately. She’s early again. Predictable, but… good.He tilted his head, silently observing her as she walked past, papers in hand, coffee in the other. Something about her slight stumble—it wasn’t clumsiness. No, it was… human. Warm. Alive. He smirked. This is going
EPISODE 3 – PART 2: “Close Quarters, Closer Hearts”ClaraThe next morning, I arrived at Steele Global Enterprises, determined to keep my balance—literally and figuratively.Mara waved at me from across the lobby. “Good luck, Clara! Today is… unpredictable.”I groaned. “Why do I feel like every day is unpredictable here?”Mara shrugged. “Because Mr. Steele exists.”And just like that, my stomach did a little flip.⸻AlexanderAlexander entered the office, crisp and sharp as always. But today, he was in a meticulous mood—every detail of the office aligned, his tie perfectly straight. His eyes, however, found Clara almost immediately. She’s early. Again. And still… flustered. He smirked faintly. He knew the kind of effect he had on people—but with her, it was different. He didn’t want control… he wanted curiosity, attention, even trust.⸻Clara (first-person)I barely made it to my desk before Mara whispered, “Sir Alexander is… right there.”My heart skipped. There he was, walking towar
EPISODE 4 – PART 3: “After Hours Sparks” Clara The office was silent now, only the soft hum of the air conditioning filling the room. I was finishing up the day’s last report when Alexander appeared at the doorway. “You’re still here?” he asked, a faint smirk on his face. “Yes… I wanted to finish this before leaving,” I replied, trying to sound confident, though my heart pounded in my chest. He leaned against the doorframe. “You’re dedicated… I like that.” I swallowed nervously. “Thank you… Alexander.” ⸻ Alexander Watching her, he realized how her hair fell softly over her shoulders, how her fingers moved delicately across the keyboard. Even in the quiet, mundane act of working late, she captivated him. “Clara,” he said, stepping closer. “Do you want a break? We can go for coffee… outside. A little fresh air.” I blinked. “Uh… outside?” “Yes. Consider it… a reward for working so late.” Her chest tightened. A reward? For me? ⸻ Clara (first-person) I hesit
EPISODE 4 – PART 2: “Unexpected Closeness” Clara It was mid-afternoon, and I was carrying a pile of reports to Alexander’s office. My mind was half on work, half on the smirk he had given me this morning. “Careful, Clara,” Mara whispered from across the floor. “Or you’ll get another disaster story.” I rolled my eyes. Not today. I can do this. But fate, of course, had other plans. ⸻ Alexander Alexander was reviewing quarterly reports in his office when he heard a shuffle outside the door. Looking up, he saw Clara approaching, her arms full of files. She looked focused… but her gait was slightly off. Oh no, he thought. Not again. He leaned back in his chair, smirking, deciding to watch for entertainment before intervening. ⸻ The Mishap As she stepped forward, a rogue cable caught her foot. “AHHHH!” The stack of papers tumbled toward him. Without thinking, Alexander leapt forward, catching the reports mid-air. “Clara!” he said, steadying the last of the
EPISODE 4 – PART 1: “Teasing and Tension” Clara Monday morning arrived faster than I was ready for. My head still buzzed from the late-night work session with Alexander yesterday. Mara nudged me in the lobby. “So… did you feel it? The spark?” I frowned. “Spark? What spark?” “You know… the one when he looks at you and makes your heart beat like crazy,” she said, eyes wide. “I saw it! Don’t pretend you don’t notice it either.” I sighed, forcing a smile. “Mara, please. It’s work. Nothing more.” Yet, even as I said it, my chest tightened at the thought of him. ⸻ Alexander Alexander Steele entered the office with purpose, his coat sharp, his steps measured. But something in his demeanor today was… playful. Dangerous, calculated playfulness. He scanned the office floor and immediately spotted Clara, busy with files. She looked up briefly, and their eyes met. She’s here. On time. Focused. But still… my distraction. A small smirk curved his lips. Perfect. ⸻ Clara
