Chapter 21

I had always thought about how unlucky I was when I'd been brought into this life. Such a lonely existence. My parents, my home. I never had much to look forward to and no reason to want to wake up each day and get on with my life. My home wasn't a home, it was just a building and I did not have a family.

Yet now, the thought of leaving what little I had behind to live amongst strange people scared me.
