Chapter 17

Hayden’s pov

I had been sitting here for more than an hour, after my conversation with Alpha Fenrir that had turned sour he left. The air changed after he left, my anger was replaced with my unsatisfying hunger for Doxy.

It was definitely unsatisfying. I do not think I would ever be satisfied with her body. It had been long since I had gone crazy for a girl this way. Since I had met my mate and even when I met my mate I was able to control it.

I could not control how I felt for Doxy. It was unexplainable. Even my wolf was attracted to her.

She was supposed to be here by now, it has been hours since our dance. I sipped on my wine, trying to control my raging wolf.

If I had given my will a chance then he would have been searching frantically for her but I was not going to do that.

I was still an Alpha, the commander of death. No woman would make me go crazy to such an extent.

I just had to wait for her.

    Hayden's POVI groaned opening my eyes to find myself still in the room, it was dark but I recognized the room the way it was at noon. I stood from the mat and I glanced around the room, I noticed no one's presence as I stepped out of the room, it was dark outside but there were lanterns hung through the hallway.
