A visit at his dad's mansion - 1

[ Mavis's POV ]

I arrived at my dad's mansion and just before I got down from my car, my mom ran out of the house. "My son," She exclaimed excitedly, hugging me.

I smiled hugging her back, I indeed miss her a lot. If not for my dad, I won't mind dropping by to see her. I have told her countless times to come live with me, but my mom always disagrees with me.

"I can't leave my husband's house when he is still alive. it is your obligation as my son to always come see me" She would say anytime I brought up the idea of her staying with me.

My dad and I might not be in a good relationship as father and son, but I can tell he loves my mom so much, he takes care of her and always spoils her with lots of good things.

Despite being in their late 50's and 60's, both were very much in love with each other, this is the reason why my mom refused to leave her husband, just to live with me.
