“The day has finally arrived. Two whole years with what feels like a lifetime's worth of the best memories. I used to believe that partnerships with this much love could only be found in the romantic movies that you always mock me for viewing. But here we are, a year later, and you have shown that you are wrong (despite your argument that rom-com gives me and the rest of the female population false hope — so I guess you have proven yourself wrong as well).

I've never felt more at ease with anyone, mentally, physically, or emotionally. You are my refuge when I need it. You've given me so much over the last year, but what I value most about your love is the sense of security and reliance. You're my best friend, and I know you'll be there for me no matter what. Never let me face it alone.
