~Owen POV~

At Haven hotel, room 1001.

The door creaked open.

Swiftly, I shifted my gaze away from the space to the man stepping into the room. I kept my eyes on him, watching as he shrugged off his jacket, tossed it onto the bed, and headed for the bathroom.

Halfway there, something, perhaps instinct made him pause.

He turned, his eyes now locking onto my figure seated calmly by the open window, half-draped in darkness.

He froze, nearly jumping out of his own skin.

I could see dread wrap around him as he shivered from where he stood. He must be desperately wishing the ground to open and swallow him whole rather than have a man with a horrifying scar on his face stare back at him.

Immediately, he rushed backwards, fumbling until his hands grasped the door handle. His eyes widened in terror as he pointed at me with trembling fingers. "Who are you?" He demanded, frantically fishing his phone from his pocket, probably, to confirm the room number.

Perhaps seeing he was in the right room, he shouted, "I'm asking, who the hell are you and how did you get in here?" He demanded again. Then, suddenly he paused, rolling his eyes to the side. A shock on his face.

"It's up to a hundred feet down from here. Don't tell me you got in through the window. Unless..."

He didn't get to finish as I slid my hair backwards and began advancing towards him.

"I should be the one asking who you are," I said calmly, my voice smooth and deliberate. "But since you bit me to it, I accept being the gentleman first." At this point, I watched him twist the doorknob, however, it didn't bulge.

My lips drew into an amused glint, watching as fear rooted him to the spot, perhaps wondering what I had done to stop the door from opening.

"I'm sure you've heard about me before." I continued, now stopping right in front of him. "However, have not seen my face." Hovering up to 2 feet above the man, I crouched slowly until his eye level. With my fingers, I tipped his face up to look right into my face.

"How dare you want to mess with the woman of Owen Vitmoz?" I questioned, the sound of my voice instilling coldness in his body. I’m sure this time, he would wish he possessed the powers to disappear.

“It’s you… Owen Vitmoz. The man with the scared face. The man whom no man dares to cross. What… what kind of hell have I walked into?” He cried.

“My hell indeed” I chuckled, letting my fingers play with his jaw. “She must have promised you that no one would find out about what you two were about to do.

Tsk. You had believed in her words thinking of the huge amount of money you would receive. Turned out the plan is about to destroy you”

I could see the tears in his eyes. This time he must be questioning what reason she had to do this to him? He would have continued to live his innocent life if he had not been invited to do this in the first place.

And now he was encountering this dangerous man.

"I...I have nothing to do with your fiancée, Sir." He stammered desperately to save his innocent life. "I don't even know who she is. I believe I'm in the wrong room. She's not the woman I was supposed to meet."

"I see," I drooled, nodding thoughtfully. “I’m sure the lie tastes bitter in your mouth, hoping I would believe you.” I laughed, a creepy laughter as I watched him getting drenched by his own sweat. "Let me say I believe you."

Hope flickered across his face only to die instantly as I continued.

"However, Owen Vitmoz doesn’t hate it when men try to play the game ahead of him. In fact…" I let my smile deepen. "He enjoys it most when they try to touch what belongs to him."

I could feel his soul abandoning him.

Suddenly, I stepped away from him, giving him time to ponder my next move. Immediately, he went on his knees begging for his life. However, my commanding voice sliced through his pleas.

"Silence!" My demeanor changed into something dark and dangerous. However, in a second, I slowly let it soften into a very sweet version of me.

"Who said I was going to kill you? I'm not as cruel as you think. I don't kill innocent hookers like you. Don't worry, I'll spare your life... But for attempting to have what is mine, you'll serve me for the rest of your life."

Immediately, he pressed his forehead on the floor, begging, "I'll do anything....Anything as long as you spare my life."

"Good," I muttered. Seeing him tremble in fear, a satisfactory glint appeared in my eyes. "I know everything about you," I went on calmly.

"Your mother. Your sister. They’re living quite freely. However, if you want them to continue living in a peaceful life..." I pulled out a card, letting it fall just out of reach, "You have only thirty minutes to present yourself at my place. Don’t think of being clever. You’ll regret it."

He scrambled for the card, desperately clutching onto it. "I swear," He cried. "I'll serve you for the rest of my life. Please...leave my family out of this."

"Now leave," I ordered, letting him stand. I watched him, his legs barely supporting him as he staggered toward the door and fled the room.

"This is just the beginning of the game," I smirked, returning to my seat on the open window.

Settling into my seating position once more, this time I waited until Elowen entered the room.

A knowing smile curved up my lips as I reached up removing the scarred face. "For the first time, I'm going to reveal my true face to you, Elowen."

I let my gaze drift around the room until it settled on the bed. A soft chuckle rose from my throat at what played in my mind. "Let's see how this is going to turn out, Elowen."

  • IN HELL WITH YOU    A Welcome To His Den

The moment I stepped out of the car, I felt my skin prickle. The servants rushed forward, two at the driver's side helping with my luggage, the other quickly ushering me forward. Another walking straight to us.“Boss,” He said. Turning to me, he gave a curt nod. Just like that. No formal introductions. No pleasantries. Not even a single pretence of a smile formed on his face. Just a straight face, shoulders held out, and steps sharp as though welcoming a returning president in a white house. They all stepped aside, watching as Owen took the lead.Does he even have a family? I wondered noticing how every breath felt empty even as servants scrambled about. No Father in-law to bid me welcome. No mother-in-law to take my hands. My so-called husband was not interested in sweeping my feet off the ground and into his arms as a normal bride and groom norm. Just heads bowing, footsteps walking in precision, and orders taken. He suddenly paused, turning to me. "It is just going to be us living

Melvin, he always knew too much. I wasn‘t surprised. I knew Melvin would come to understand this wasn’t just because her father was my enemy. No one knew the depth of my connection with Elowen. Everything had a reason for it. She was just so unlucky to be born through Walker Dominic. However, Elowen was mine and I get whatever is mine no matter what.“It’s not in your position to know whether I am or not in love with Elowen,” I replied.“Sorry for intruding, boss” He said, scratching his head and I knew he was not yet done. “Permit me to suggest… Maybe you should go easy on her. You…know women… they can not easily fall in love with men who treat them in that manner. You know…? Ah, umm… I‘m only trying to look out for you…”I sighed. He would never shut his mouth. “You know what Melvin? You‘re done with any matter that has to do with Elowen including investigations. So, from now onwards, I would suggest you focus on other investigations… Like the recent one I asked you to make

  • IN HELL WITH YOU    To Be Mysterious.

~Owen POV~I know she had not expected this to be the outcome after her fight to stop our marriage. Letting another day pass will give her time to think of more strategies to run away from me. And I was not going to give her that chance. Not a bit of it. She was mine. Bound with me forever. This was just a message to let her know that no one now messes with Owen Vitmoz and succeeds. No one outsmarts me.I watched her stare at the photograph on our just-signed marriage certificate, probably wondering what marriage had the groom had a horrifying scar on his face, not sparing at least a fake smile, obviously not bothered about it. She must be thinking a photo that should have depicted a joyous moment for a couple was more like a melancholy moment. She dropped the pen handing the certificate to the registrar who took no time to study all the provided information to make sure nothing was missing. After she was done with all proceeding, she turned to us.“Congratulations Mr and Mrs Vitmoz

  • IN HELL WITH YOU    I Can No Longer Escape Him

~Owen POV~ "Hello, Elowen Walker,” I spoke, looking her up from where she stood with shock written all over her. “What a pleasant surprise to finally meet you." Only if she knew we had met a few hours ago, however, with the face she never knew was mine. Now back to the face they all knew me for, the look on her face no longer flickered that admiration that had lingered a few hours ago when she couldn't set her eyes off my body. I could see fear sipping in, eyes blinking, breath coming heavy on her chest. "You...?" Her voice came out low and tethered. "Who the hell are..." The remaining words died in her tongue. The scar on my face was enough not to repeat a stupid question. But I think she needed to make sure this wasn’t just her imagination playing games with her. I snorted. "Don't tell me that up till now, you don't know who 'the hell' your future husband is." I imitated her words, voice lacing mockery. "Your father must have abstained from showing you my pictures. Perhaps, a

  • IN HELL WITH YOU    Hello, Elowen Walker.

~Owen~ Once again, I savored the taste of the tea, letting it linger on my tongue, my thoughts drifting back to the events of the past few hours. She must be shocked and furious by now. Cautious of what my next move would be, wondering how everything slipped through her fingers. How only her father and I ended up with what she had tried so desperately to control. Elowen Walker. A quiet, dangerous chuckle left me as her phone twirled in my fingers. Little did she know it was me with her all along. Fragments of last night clung to me. It was hard to stop myself from rewatching the video over and over again. The thought alone ached in my gums. The way she had moaned. That voice— Soft. Unguarded. Breaking in ways she never allowed in daylight. Even now, at eight in the morning, it stubbornly re-echoes in my head. I had imagined for far too long how she would taste in my tongue again, wondered what it would be like to have her within reach, to feel her surrender for every second

  • IN HELL WITH YOU    Fear and Doubt.

"I warned you ahead of time to obey me and not to mess things up, Elowen. Now look, Owen has the evidence of you with another man in bed. Infact, he's the one who personally sent the pictures to me. Because of you, he has taken what belongs to me!"I choked in my own fears at the fierceness of my father's voice, life leaving my body. Yes, I had planned for this, but this was taking another turn. It can't possibly be that my one-night stand got in touch with my photos. Yes, he was aware I took the videos and pictures of what we did. I had paid him for it. But to leak the video himself...? How did he get access to my phone in the first place? Did he purposely steal it from me?I needed to speak with Emily to confirm this right now. "Father, I'm sorry for what I did. I only thought of saving the family. It was not in my expectations that things would turn out this way." My eyes searched my father's who I feared might have a panic attack with the way he flared. He was already 50 and e
