I sign and let my body rest in my swivel chair. I want to go there and see her, but I'm guilty. I don't know how to face her after this, after what I did. My conscience is eating me. I don't remember anything, but because I woke up next to her with no clothes, I couldn't help but believe that something had happened. Wala akong maalala, pero wala akong maisip na ibang dahilan kung bakit nandoon kaming dalawa.

“You should rest, son. Hindi ka raw lumabas sa opisina mo maghapon. You don’t even eat at bakit nasa opisina ka pa hanggang ngayon?” Mama said on the phone.

I sign. “I’m fine, Ma,” walang kalakas lakas na ani ko at pinikit na lang ang mata.

"But your voice says the other way. What is it? Do you have a problem? You can tell me and I can listen," she said softly, but I didn't speak and the phone remained on my desk, now on loudspeaker.

Nasa opisina pa lang ako at halos lahat ng empleyado ay wala na. Pinatay ko ang ilaw at pinanatili ang kadiliman sa paligid ko.
