14. On my nerves

I knew the other day that I made a mistake by inviting a challenge date to my apartment, but when I realized it, we were already inside. Now he was aware of where I live, and he could come to bug me anytime he wanted.

I gaped at Jason with his astonishing smirk and the biggest bouquet I have ever seen, waiting for an answer. Instead of explaining what he was doing at my doorstep, he just pushed the roses closer to me, as I would take them and all will be rainbows and butterflies.

Sighing, I rolled my eyes and slammed the door in his face. It felt awesome! Smiling at my actions, I leaned where my peephole was supposed to be and listened. I hoped to hear him swearing or kicking the flowers down the stairs. Nothing like that happened for a minute, and I felt disappointed.
