A frustrated Captain

It was getting late and Marco still had no idea on what to do. He knew the moment he left the station, he would not be allowed to come back here till the case is settled, and he had no idea on how to settle it.

He had a few options but he wasn’t certain that they would work. His first idea was to try and make Elena talk before tomorrow, so that he could provide her confession to his superiors directly, rather than the court. The court was biased and would definitely work in favor of the Mafioso, so he needed to solve this issue internally.

However, he wasn’t so sure that Elena would open up so easily, especially after the resilience he had seen from the other guys that he captured earlier. She might be a female but she had been with that gang of hardened criminals for months and it was only expected that she had grown tough shells like them.
