" thank you for telling me the truth mom, finally and I have never resented you, I know how much you and dad love me, even more so than your own son and I love you too so very much and I thank you for doing what you did and taking such great care of me but unfortunately I can no longer stay here but it would always, always be my home mama " I pulled her into a hug and she sobbed into my chest and hugged me back " I love you Beau, with my whole heart, never you forget that and your room will always be right here for you " " thanks mom "

* knock knock * " there's a red head downstairs says she came to meet him and take him back to their college " my older brother stares at me and points like I'm nothing more than a nuisance in his eyes, which I probably am, I stand and look out the window and Red is there, she looks up at me as though she can see me looking at her, I smile and turn to head down " let's go mom, I'd like you to meet my friend " she washes her face and dolls herself up in my bathroom before heading down with me, by the time my mom and I get downstairs my brother is already chatting it up with Red, from the looks of it she's not the least but interested in what ever he's saying.

I catch the word " freak " as we approach her and her eyes harden as she finally turns to look at him and I can feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, as though I can sense she's going to hurt him " Red! " she turns to look at me and her body relaxes a bit as she walks away from him and moves towards my mom and I " good day ma'am my name is Roho, I am a representative of Turafine Acadamy where Beau will be enrolling, please see this letter of acceptance sent from our Dean " she hands mom the letter and she opens the envelope and reads through it " you'd be gone for such a long time Beau " my brother interjects " I've never heard of such an institute before, is it some place new? " she turned to face Mike " of course you've never heard it, it's because it's an exclusive institution where persons such as myself and Beau are accepted to harness our uniqueness, someone like yourself would never be able to see the gates let alone get in " his face is red with embarrassment and he stays silent.

" Please don't worry ma'am we will take the best care of your son, and he would be able to visit after about a year or so into the program " my mom smiles and nods " okay, that's great, well I guess based on your staying out in the yard you have to get on the road right away " " that's correct ma'am " she turned to me and pulled me down into a hug " I love you Beau, please take care of yourself out there and do pay your mother a visit from time to time " I hugged her back " I'll miss you mom and I'd be okay, I will visit you I promise " she smiled and released me " off you go then ".

" Be right back " I say to Red who nods I put my things into the jeep and pull up to where she's standing, she hops in and we wave bye to my mom and head out " how did you get here? " I just realized she doesn't have a vehicle as she's riding with me " I ran " she says as though it's nothing, wow okay then, she pushed the seat back into laying position " you remember the way ? " " of course " " cool " she actually went to sleep.
