Chapter 9

As calm as I may seem on the outside, my mind is going a mile a minute, werewolves exist and not only do they exist, I'm one of them how amazingly scary is that, that aside it also means that I truly don't belong to my family, I know they tried their best to bring me up along with my sisters and brother but I always stood out even though I was the youngest and I know my brother resented me some for that, so I did my best to stay out of his way and his circle of friends and females I realized he was interested in but then I noticed that some how all the girls I became interested in somehow ended up on his radar and then they'd all break up with me after coming in contact with him and him telling them how much of a weirdo and a freak I am.

I stopped trying to date after more than a few attempts, I suppose that was his way of boosting his ego, at the fact that he can make girls break up with me, I drive for a total of Seven and a half hours before finally turning onto the road that leads back to Gaisha, after another Forty-Five minutes I pull up to Zacs' house first, it's naturally quite easy for me to get him into his house, I use his phone to make a video recording saying bye to him Una and Joe, and explaining vaguely that I found a place that I'm meant to be and it's best for them to stay here with their families and thanking them for being brave enough to journey with me and promising them I'd pay them a visit from time to time and expressing how much I love them all.

After sending the video to Una and Joe I drop them both off at their homes, I drive by my house and stop, I stare at the house engulfed in darkness as everyone is still asleep, I think to myself, perhaps it's not a bad idea to rest for a few hours before heading back, I reverse and pull into the back of the house and park as to not make it obvious and then make my way up to my room, as soon as I see my bed the weight of all my traveling comes down on me but I could never drop onto my bed without showering first, once done with that I put on a track pants and vest then plop onto my bed and I'm out in an instant.

I'm in a place, like a plain surrounded by wolves, my goodness they're all so massive but they do not harm me, I walk over to where they are and as I go they move away from me, the wolves all basically clear a path for me and I'm faced with a big dark brown wolf, his eyes are grey and he's watching me intently as I approach him, he sniffs the air and slowly moves to me, I reach my hand out to him and he sniffs it then nuzzles, the other wolves stampede away and he knicks me on my hand then licks it before running after them and a voice crashes into my mind ' see you soon human '.

I'm jolted awake covered in sweat and sit up on my bed, I look out and realize it's fully day out, I over slept, I check the time and it's almost Noon " f**k " I hustle out of bed, shower and brush my teeth, I get dressed and grab a duffle bag and stuff some clothes, shoes, underwear in there, I was about to head back out the window when there's a knock at my door and the door is pushed open when my mom comes into the room.

" We looked for you and your friends for Three days Beau, you show up here at ungodly hours and then expect to disappear again without a word, do you have any idea how worried I was about you, have you nothing to say to your mother? "

I sigh and look back her " how did you know I was here mom " " I'm your mother Beau, you think I won't hear and know of your comings and goings through your window, talk to me what's going on with you, where have you been and where are you going? "

" Mom, can I ask you something and trust you to be honest with me " " of course honey " " how did you manage to get me to raise me and do you know who my birth parents are " she looked at me long and hard and her eyes filled up with tears " so you know, for sure now, that we're not your parents but sweetheart you'd always be my baby " she looked away then back at me this time with her tears falling " there was a woman, I have no idea who she was, your father and I had been trying for another baby, we where just coming back from a trip to the big city to get some equipment’s your dad needed when she ran out onto the road from the forest, she was covered in blood and insisted she didn't need help but begged us to take you, she looked scared especially when we heard wolves in the forest, we told her to come with us to safety because the wolves probably could smell her blood and was following the scent but she refused, she pushed you into my arms and told us to leave and keep you safe, she shouted at us to leave then turned and ran back into the forest, your father tried looking for her but we never found her, we heard wolves snarling at a distance in the forest and ran back to the car and brought you with us Beau, we never meant to keep it from you or to lie to you but we saw you as only our son and we did try to make you feel like you belonged here with us, and I'm sorry if I failed you as a mother but please, don't run away, we can talk about it "
