I sit up at the sound of the voice on the other end of the phone, I look around the room, it seems Carson is downstairs already "hi uh Noah, it's been a while"

"Yes Four months to be precise, my dear, I've just finish wrapping up a lot of my business and will be in the Royal City for a bit, how about we meet up for dinner and do a bit of a catch up the day after tomorrow?"

Tomorrow is mine and Carsons mating ceremony as well as Cory and Alessia, I can't be seen with another wolf the day after my ceremony, "I'm sorry Noah but I can't make dinner the day after tomorrow" I hear Carson coming up the stairs and hurry to hang up "I'll call you later bye!" I don't wait for his response, I just hang up and place my phone on the night stand after putting it on silent.

I just can't take the risk right now, things have been going so well for us, "good morning my love, I brought you breakfast" "good morning babe, thank you, where is yours?" "downstairs" "well I'll come down and have it down there with you then hmm?"

"Okay, well I'll take the tray back down and come on down once you're ready" "okay, see you in a bit" I release a breath and check my phone and sure enough I have Four missed call and a text from Noah, I've been so in my bubble with Carson that I completely forgot about him, I need to find time to talk to him, perhaps after Carson leaves for his night shift later I'll give him a call back.

I use the bathroom to refresh myself and brush my teeth before heading down to have breakfast with my mate who is kind enough to wait for me.

I give him a kiss and sit down to enoy breakfast with my mate.

It's already been Four months since the training has been in session and I have made zero progress with Roho, she avoids being anywhere I am on her own, at first I didn't think much of it but as time went by it became abundantly clear that she is avoiding me, even when I attend her training sessions and they have to partner up, she quickly voulunteers to work with others before I have a chance to pair myself with her 'I do believe this is all your fault Hunter' 

'What the heck did I do?' 'it's been like this since the last night you went to her room' 'look human, if you want mate, just go and claim her, mark and mate her, what can she do against us?' 'I know you are an animal but still I am not a brute! if I do things that way then she will hate us forever for forcing the bond onto her'

'So you rather be here pining away, as you can see we are both slowly loosing our sanity, I do not want to be known as the feral King of beasts human' 'I will not allow us to get to the point of going feral but we still have a bit of time do we not? my birthday is Two months away and we have that amount of time before her training ends and it's time to leave' Hunter growls lowudly in my head 'leave? there is no way she can leave human'.

I made note of Elder Toms daughter suddenly being everywhere I go, I don't even remember what her name is and I do not know why on earth she would not leave me alone but I am in the kitchen fetching some Sweet Potato Pie my mate made when I scent her come in "here you are my King, I never fancied I'd meet you here"I rub my temples not wanting to deal with this she wolf right now.

"As you can see, I am having a snack so can you-" "oh I'd be more than happy to join you, is there more? you! maid can you get me a piece as well?" Daisy obviously does not move because who does she think she is? "are you deaf maid? I asked you to bring me a piece of pie too to join the King"

I continue eating and finish my first piece "Daisy may I have another piece please" she takes my plate and dishes me another slice of pie then goes back to what she was prepping, and now that she saw where the pie is she decided to plate herself a piece and sit back down, this time choosing the stool closer to me.

I look at her from the side as she eats and a thought crosses my mind, I wonder if Roho would feel jealous if she saw me with another 'no! do not even think about it!' 'think about it Hunt, we need something to stir her attention and interest' 'this is not a good idea human, I am against it!' ' I think it's worth a shot'

"What exactly do you want from me pup?" "I don't want anything per say but I'd just like to get to know you a little better that's all, my King" "I see, well then how about attending the ceremony with me tomorrow"

I hear a clatter and Daisys' eyes are wide as saucers because she knows what Roho is to me "my King p-please, no" I finish my plate "can you wrap up a whole one for me Daisy, I need to go" she complys "what do you say pup?" "I am honoured your majesty"
