I simply smile “but no matter, soon you too shall come to know what it is like, to have a pup and not be in it’s life” she has the heart to step back from the cell shaking her head and whisper “you wouldn’t” “ahh but I would my dear kin, in fact I shall insist upon it, the moment you give birth your young one will be taken away from you and given to it’s father and once you’ve healed at the Fire Tree I shall do away with you, is that not just sweet irony!” I say with a laugh.

I will not allow you!” I snicker “and how do you plan on stopping me?” she looks around the room wildly as though searching for an answer, the Winter Wards have already begun making their way up out of the dungeon and I follow after them ignoring her screams and profanities she hurls at me as we make our way up and away from her.
We get back to the throne room and they stop, “you majesty, will you not pay your parents a visit?” I sit down on my throne and sigh rubbing my throbbing temples “I quite honestly do not have the will to see them right now if I’m honest, even though I now know that they are not at fault I still feel very angry and resentful to them, just please give me some time, Three days at most then I shall send word and come visit”
“There is no need to send word your Majesty, even though we are the Wards and do stay out of the Elementals way, we are in no way above you, we simply keep the balance as best we could, or at least I thought we were”
