“You have traveled a mighty long way my child in order to cause much harm and chaos, what do you intend to do with her your majesty?” “I have yet to decide, I presume the pup in her stomach belongs to her mate and I will not rob him of his heir, so she has until the pup is born to enjoy her time here in her new home”

I simply smile “but no matter, soon you too shall come to know what it is like, to have a pup and not be in it’s life” she has the heart to step back from the cell shaking her head and whisper “you wouldn’t” “ahh but I would my dear kin, in fact I shall insist upon it, the moment you give birth your young one will be taken away from you and given to it’s father and once you’ve healed at the Fire Tree I shall do away with you, is that not just sweet irony!” I say with a laugh.

I will not allow you!” I snicker “and how do you plan on stopping me?” she looks around the room wildly as though searching for an answer, the Winter Wards have already begun making their way up out of the dungeon and I follow after them ignoring her screams and profanities she hurls at me as we make our way up and away from her.

We get back to the throne room and they stop, “you majesty, will you not pay your parents a visit?” I sit down on my throne and sigh rubbing my throbbing temples “I quite honestly do not have the will to see them right now if I’m honest, even though I now know that they are not at fault I still feel very angry and resentful to them, just please give me some time, Three days at most then I shall send word and come visit”

“There is no need to send word your Majesty, even though we are the Wards and do stay out of the Elementals way, we are in no way above you, we simply keep the balance as best we could, or at least I thought we were”

“That reminds me, what do you intend to do with this dark witch?”

“We most certainly intend to pay her a visit your majesty but it would require some time to plan as we can not rush blindly into something and we do not know how formidable she may be, for now we will send our Owl scouts out to find and watch for her, do some surveillance then we plan and make our move”

“Very well, let it be so, as I said I shall make a visit within the next Three days, by then my anger should have died down and I can speak to them calmly and with a clear head and perhaps introduce them to my pup”

They turn and walk away, disappearing into a gust of snow “ugh, Gyahan bring me a goblet of wine!” I need to have a drink and go lie down, my mental space is so not right at this point.
