“Glow bombs?” asks Cory we all look over to see what he’s looking at “she has instructions on how to make different bombs and where she dug up and already planted mines Fifty feet outside of the borders” Cory looks up at me “seems you’ve got yourself a real G.I Jane there Tyler” I chuckle.

“Okay so based on what she has here, it’s given us a bit of a head start, we need to go and get the herbalists to gather the herbs and portion them out as she’s instructed here and Harry, take Carson with you and the other Guards and go and check out the look outs she’s made and be careful everyone, we don’t know if there are scouts out there or anyone waiting to ambush, do not travel alone”

“Yes my King” they leave the office carrying the sheets of paper relating to their tasks while I keep the map that highlights where she hid land mines and mark them onto my map so I can instruct my army where to avoid if they do venture out into the forest.

“What would I do without you Red?” I am truly astonished as to how much ground she’s covered and we had no idea of her movements but I suppose it’d be quick for her with her new portal skills, that’s very true.

“I wish there was a way for us to stop this fire, stopping the fire would stop the spread of the clouds”

She comes waltzing in to where we are “you called my lord” she bows, it takes every ounce of my will power not to strike her down where she stands “remove that fire right fkin now!” she stares at me as though I’ve grown Three extra heads “I’m sorry but I can not” “what the fk do you mean you can not! You started that did you not?!” “yes sire I did but once I call upon the flames of the underworld, there is no stopping it, it is too late to turn back”

I pick up a chair and launch it at her and she moves out of the way but I am on her in a second gripping her by the throat, she scratches at my hand choking and grasping for air “m-my lord” “you know full well that we do not have the numbers to take over the top side but you go and pull a stunt like this!”

“I-cahhh” she taps my hand and I drop her, she holds her throat coughing “I can help you with that, in a few wheeze days the undead will see the flames and go to it and climb their way out and up, they will make up your numbers my lord, by the time the entire sky is covered by darkness, you will have your army”

I laugh, the disbelief runs so deep that I can do nothing more than laugh “you say this as though you know how to take control of the undead, they are the undead Cass which means they have no soul which means they can not be controlled! They are the damned! You have open a way for them to get free and throw the world into turmoil! Even though I wish to take over! I wish to take over with order! Do you understand what that word means?!”

“I-I am sorry I didn’t think, I mean, I did not know that we would not be able to contain and control them”

“That always seems to be my problem with you huh Cass, you never seem to think just act without thought and all it does is bring chaos to me and my plans, this is your third strike Cass and the worse of them all”

I walk over to her and push my hand into her, extending my claws so I can reach her heart “ahh” I pull my hand out and she staggers back putting her hand over her chest and shockingly Simon does not move to go to her aid, he remains where I left him standing, “get out of my sight this instant” she turns and runs out of the room.

I walk over to my chalice and drop the blood from my claws into it then pour some all knowing serum into it, a white light smoke rises from the chalice and we watch like a vision as a scene comes to life, a woman is fleeing, she’s dressed in black with her face covered and keeps looking back as she goes.

It flashes forward, she is caught her face is clearly seen, her eyes are white and hair black as night and she is scraping at who ever has her caught by the throat “we have caught you Reina the Darcrow, it is futile to fight it, there is no escaping!” the smoke dies down and the blood is the chalice is evaporated.

I rub my chin thoughtfully “Reina huh, so that’s who you are a Darcrow” I look across to Simon “you have brought back a Darcrow with Cass’s being Simon and now things have gone beyond our control which means it is only a matter of time before the Minx and the Lord of the underworld will come because we have tipped the scale of life”

“I truly am sorry sire, I had no idea she had attached herself to Cass”

“It is not your fault Simon, it is mine and I need to fix it before things get even more out of hand” I rise up from my seat and leave the throne room, I need to visit the other dimension, I need some pure souls to offer to the Minx so he can take me to his lord.
