Chapter 169

I grab my book and begin scribbling down the light spells we would need to face off against the dark so I can share it with them, the book will need to be with me and I also need to ensure they are able to protect themselves too if we happen to get separated or worse, but I try not to dwell on that, I mean I have lived for more than a Hundred and Fifty years, it’s more than enough, I just wish I was able to see my beloved, even once more and that would have been more than enough for me.

After writing down the spells and enchantments, I go to my storage and grab us some Bottomless purses and fill them with healing herbs, potions and serums, I also add a few light orbs but attach the final ingredient to the bottles because any rapid shaking can set them off and it is possible to give away the carriers position, so I leave the activator out of it, I can not take the risk.

I then flit across to the food storage and stuff food and drinks down into the pouches as well as a tent for reach of us and cots, what can I say, I am a firm believer in it’s better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it, I rack my brain trying to remember if there is anything I forgot, once I’m satisfied I’ve got everything into the pouches I hand them out, there are Twelve of us in total right now, I am sure that there are other White Witches out there in hiding or even in their own Covens but for now this is what we are.

“Okay so now we’ve gotten our spells and pouches, what’s our next move?”

“We need to figure out where the source of the darkness is and go there”

“Ah I can help with that, do we still have that map?”

“Yes, yes we do let me grab it for you”

I lay the map on the table and roll it open, Zenna blows into her hand and chants then drops two Rubies onto it, they roll and stop, we all look down on the map.

“That can’t be right”

“My Rubies are never wrong Dom”

“You do realize that the Rubies are saying the source of the darkness is in the Royal City Zenna”

“My sisters Rubies are never wrong Duminco, if that’s where they landed then that is where the source is”

“It makes sense, I mean where else to strike the most fatal blow than at the centre of all were kind? The Royal City is where the strongest of the were kind resides, once they get rid of them or try to get rid of them then everything else would be easy to do, so it’s basically getting rid of their biggest obstacle first and then working their way out”

“I still don’t get what this has to do with Reina but I guess we shall see when we get there”

“It is highly unlikely we will see her in her true form which means she would be hiding in someone’s body, we’d need to figure out who that is and eliminate them, especially if she is the creator of the darkness, she would want to stay close to it because it would be tied to her existence, which would also make it her biggest weakness”

“Alright well then it’s settled, let’s head out to the Royal City”

“It’s going to take us at least Two days to get there”

“Not if we use a gateway”

“Are you mad? Can you imagine their reaction to seeing a band of Twelve Witches walking into their territory in times like this?”

Duminco snickers “it is clear her head is simply there for decoration”

“Shut it Dumico!” he snickers again but says nothing “alright stop it, it’s not a bad idea but I will have to adjust so we can come out a few feet outside of the borders, preferably at their main entry way”

“Okay, let’s do that then”

“Alright everyone, we have waited many years for our time to come to go into the world and make it ours, the time is now!, we will divide and conquer starting at the centre of the Royal City, once we take over the City the rest of the world will be ours!”

“HOORAH! HOORAH! HOORAH! HOORAH!”

“You all already know what our battle plan is and to which sector you belong, the first squadron will follow Cass and attack at the centre of the City while the rest of us will breach their borders from all directions! We will give them no chances! Open the gate!”

“HOORAH! HOORAH! HOORAH! HOORAH!”

The gateway opens and Cass 2.0 look at me from the back of a Rounce and nods “see you on the other side” I give a curt nod and she runs through the gateway “chargeeeeee” the squad that is going with her shouts as they too run through the gateway then it closes behind them.
