Chapter Seven

Maryanne had packed up her suitcases. She was in front of the car that was there to take her to the pack house. Michael had been deadly serious and he didn't even come out to send her off.

Her mother was the only one who stood beside her, patting her cheeks softly.

"Don't mind your brother, he will come around," Sally said. Maryanne smiled softly. She could tolerate anybody else being mad at her but not Michael. He was her big brother, her only sibling. They have been together through thick and thin, she needed him the most now.

"Mama, couldn't he just come out to send me off?"

"Am I not enough for you?" Sally refuted. "Mama is here. Don't mind him, I will send him out of the house and he won't enter in until he makes peace with you, okay?"

Maryanne giggled softly. She knew that Sally would do it. Sally might pretend to be jealous of her relationship with Michael but she never tolerated them having fights.
