Chapter Twelve

After her lessons, she started to feel hungry. She escorted them out of the house and then she returned.

Calhoun was nowhere to be found. Not as if she was searching for him, but she expected to at least see him after having her training.

Tanya was by her side immediately. She held her hand and led her into her room.

"What shall you like to eat now?"

"Don't speak as if we are in the time of Alpha Avraz and his wife," Maryanne said.

Tanya gasped. "Oh, you have begun your training. I wish I was there to send you off! Alpha Calhoun just pushed me into the kitchen because he wanted to send you off by himself."

Maryanne was surprised at the revelation. "He did that?"

"I think I will like to eat now. Could you take it up to my room for me?" Maryanne asked.
