Chapter Six

Maryanne was in her room, feeling depressed. She hadn't slept all night, she had sat in her bed, folded her legs, and stared at the wall opposite her.

Her thoughts were the same thing, how could Calhoun report her to her mother? And now Michael had given her an ultimatum, and her father? Everyone seemed disappointed in her.

All she did was tell him not to hit Thomas, did she do wrong? She had called Allison to come. Why wasn't she here yet?

Her door knob turned and she heard the sound of someone crashing into the door.

"You sly witch! How can you invite me over and still leave the door locked?!"

Maryanne smiled a little. She got up from the bed and went to unlock the door for Allison. Allison entered and locked the door.

Allison walked over to the bed and sat down, Maryanne came over as well and sat down in the same spot she had been sitting.

"Anne," Allison called softly. "Tell me everything that happened. Don't leave any detail out."
