Was it surprising that her mother had praised Calhoun for giving her such a luxurious room? Yes. Yes, it was very surprising. Sally's definition of luxurious wasn't like this. Maryanne didn't know how she felt about it.

"Mom!" Maryanne demanded. "How can you even say that?"

"Oh darling, he is taking good care of you!" Sally said softly. "Come on, show me around."

She sighed. They started their journey around the castle, she was telling her mother stories about what she had been taught by her teachers.

Sally found it interesting. "Oh, dear! Even I don't know about the history of your father's pack."

"Really Mom?" Maryanne asked in surprise. "I never knew that."

"Well, now you know." Sally said, chuckling lightly. "oh but don't tell your father, he would flip."

Maryanne smirked. "I knew there was a catch. Oh but Mom, I can't wait for this month to pass. I want to familiarize myself with the company."

"At least I can have some fun things to do before I get married and start a family."
