My hands simply could not move. I just didn’t know what to do at this moment. It was as though every part of me was rooted to the ground and there was no means of escape. It was the worst situation that I have ever been in, and I was so scared of everything. I just didn’t know what I was going to do right now.

The memories of when I had helped her and how she had felt in my hands were still in my heart. I loved the way her eyes flashed as she tried to get me to see her point. I had not been able to tell her what I felt for her. I had not been able to tell her that I loved her at all. Maybe, I was just this way because of everything that has happened so far. I had no idea, but I just wanted things to be fine, and for the situation to die down a bit. There would be nothing to gain from consistent worrying and provocation.
