“Ouch!” I yelped as I cut my finger while slicing the cabbage.

“Nat!”

Harrison moved to my side in the blink of an eye.

He gently held my hand. “Are you alright?”

“Yes. I’ll wash it first.”

I rose and walked over to the sink, Harrison still by my side, as he opened the tap.

“Do you have a medicine box?”

“Yes. It’s in that cabinet,” I then pointed to that cabinet.

“I’ll take it first.”

I nodded my head then looked back at my finger.
