I gently lowered Oisin to a seating position on the ground. By the time I had done so, Rowena was already beside me.

She bent down and took Oisin from my hands.

“You shouldn’t have pushed yourself so much brother.” Rowena said in a quiet, solemn voice.

“I could handle it.” Oisin said in an even lower voice. It turned out that he had regained consciousness already, and he clearly heard his sister’s admonition.
