Seeing Dante happy was all I needed. I wanted to make him lose the stress, and as much as he still didn’t open up to me, I was happy for the little wins I had achieved in the relationship.

At least I could sleep peacefully, knowing he didn’t end a poor girl’s career or stop her from going to school. Adjo was point blank disgusting and I can’t be grateful enough for the bullet I dodged.

I didn’t know what I wanted to wear for an entire week.

“You are tied to a rich mafia man, you might as well buy the whole world,” Lee says, cutting my thought short.

I scoffed.

“It’s not that easy,” I said, and she shook her head.

“Walking into a store and demanding for the best things they have? Or spicing up your wardrobe with stuff to please him?” She asked, and I chuckled, my face going red.

Lee opened the door for me, and I walked towards the car, which was waiting for me.

“Are you sure you do not want me to come with you?” She asked, and I nodded.
