Nyssa made her way to the dungeon where Trisha was locked up. While Lucien and Lucy thought she was heading for the royal dungeon first to release Lillian, Nyssa had other plans.

Lillian would stay until she had finished with the commoners.

The guards by the dungeon frowned when they saw her. Who was she, and why would she come without someone from the pack house permitting them to let her in?

“I am here in the name of the Alpha, king of the West,” Nyssa announced clearly, but that earned a long hiss from the guards.

She ignored her like she wasn't in front of them and continued to play the game of cards. Nyssa narrowed her eyes. The silence stretched until a third guard appeared.

“What is going on here?” He asked, seeing Nyssa out with the other two guards.

“This woman thinks we just let anyone into the dungeon. Claiming she is from the king himself.” One of the guards hissed.

The other laughed.

The new arrival froze.

The guard's fingers trembled slightly seeing his fellow co

The room tensed. No one said a word. They were dumbfounded. Lucy and Lucien fixed their gazes on Nyssa, whose hands were folded, waiting for them to get out of their rooms. Silence stretched for minutes. Then, Lucy asked, “You're promising that if Lillian spends a night in the dungeon, you will release her?” Eyes sharply staring at her. Nyssa nodded. “I do.”“And if she refuses?” Lucy asked carefully. “Then she would be executed in the name of the king of the West for disobeying his orders.” She shrugged. Lucy's heart skipped. She turned to look at Lucien in fear. Lucien's jaws clenched, his eyes red. The more he saw Nyssa, the more he wanted to hate her. But can he? With everything he has done and tries to do, Varn still claimed he was wrong from the beginning. He hated that Varn was right, and even with everything he had done, Varn was still not in communication with him. “We would speak to Lillian about it.” Lucien finally said. Lucy released the breath she didn't know sh

Nysaa sat before the dressing mirror, her mind and heart calm now. Her eyes still sharp as she combed her hair. Her ears picked the sounds of footsteps, they were getting louder by the minute. Three.Two.One.The door burst opened. Through the mirror, she could see Lucien and Lucy barged in with faces as dark as coal, her lips pulled up. “What the hell, Nyssa!” Lucien yelled. His eyes sharp at her as he asked, “How could you keep us in there only to come back here?” Nyssa didn't reply immediately. She continued to comb her hair like she wasn't the one spoken to. “Did you know we had been at the dungeon waiting for you?” He barked. Still Nyssa remained silent. The more he didn't get any response, the more he got livid. He began to step forward when Lucy held him beside her.She signaled Lucien to be quiet while she handled it. Lucy walked towards Nyssa, “Nyssa.” She called, taking the comb from her. Nyssa wanted to refuse, but paused, her brows furrowed. Her fingers held the co

The guards who accompanied Nyssa quickly rushed forward to help Trisha but she trembled from their touch. Nyssa caught this and her face hardened into a deep frown. Ignoring the three shameless men, she turned to the guards, “How do you let a male prisoner into a female cell?” She asked, demanding an answer immediately. The guards hesitated, their eyes darting nervously. However, the three naked men were oblivious to the weight of her words. Their hungry eyes remained at Nyssa waiting for the guards to give them some privacy. One of them stepped forward, “Come here!” He commanded. Before Nyssa could react, his arms grabbed her and yanked her closer to himself. His body pressed to her, his hard arousal poked her hips. Her body turned cold instantly.A familiar feeling she despised washed over her— a vile memory. Her eyes darkened. Alpha Zane’s face flashed— same night of her execution. Alpha Zane had done the same thing to her.Her hand swung across his face before she could sto

“I can't believe you.” Alice's eyes were wide and her mouth almost touched the ground in shock. Papa Ganda had told her the news that Nyssa was now living in the same chamber that the old Queen Luna used to live in. “Nyssa, if that place was locked up even from the current Alpha, are you sure it wasn't for a cause? Should you be there?” Nyssa didn't respond. Her lazy eyes darted from Papa Ganda to Alice. She came here to seek their advice on what Lucy had said but they kept deliberating on the same matter. “If things had gone according to the plan of the moon goddess, I am supposed to be the owner of that chamber.” Nyssa said casually, “I decide to make it mine now until the Alpha is killed, why is that a problem?” She asked. “It is a problem because it is forbidden.” Papa Ganda almost barked. He pinched the space between his brows. Nyssa was giving him a headache. Ever since he gave her the message from the moon goddess, she had been really stubborn. This was definitely not th

  • Marked by Moon Fire   True Love's promise

“Fabian, What's going on?” Lillian asked in panic. The sun was setting. She cannot spend one night more in this dungeon. This is the only time she wished her father was alive. He would never allow his children be treated this way. Just one day at the royal dungeon and Lillian was already looking a living corp. Black circles surrounded her eyes, under her eyes were bags, showing she hadn't slept since she was thrown into the dungeon. She hasn't received shock ill treatment in her entire life. Still, no one was saying anything. Lucien wasn't speaking, Lucy wasn't doing anything and Fabian was just coming to visit her now. “Ask your traitor of a brother.” Fabian replied bitterly. He had no say back at the council. He hated the feeling. His heart was heavy, his eyes shone in disbelief and hatred for Lucien. Lillian rolled her eyes, hearing her brother's name. “Can you stop talking about that weakling?” She hissed. “If there is anyone that can help me, Fabian, it is you.” Fabian's h
