Chapter Thirty-six

" Thanks," I said quietly. I felt guilty for not telling him, I had already seen my mate.

We laid back on the grass, watching the sun as it slowly sat at the horizon. It was beautiful, I had always enjoyed it. It wasn't an awkward silence. It was a peaceful and comforting one. I wasn't thinking about anything just looking at the sky.

"As much as I would have loved to stay here with you, I think we should leave" he sighed and sat up reluctantly. I didn't want to go, but I remembered I never told Adam or Evan where I would be. He grabbed my hand and pulled me up.

"Thanks" I muttered dusting the sand off the shirt that I wore. Instead of going back, I should just meet up with the witches at the border, since I didn't feel like going home now.

" Thanks for coming," he said.

"It's fine. I am glad I came and I enjoyed your company"

" So does that mean we could do this some other time?" He asked with a raised eyebrow and a lopsided smile. He looks really cute. I laughed and nodded.
