Watching my father's casket being dragged down the soil to be buried was painful. I cried my heart out knowing that I wouldn't be able to see the old man ever again. Why is this happening? Oh God. This is too sudden, really. I wasn't even able to spend more time with him after a year and then I lost him? We lost him.

How am I going to survive the next day now that he's not by my side to support me? How am I going to get through all this? My Kierro Achellus is still too young for this. He doesn't deserve this. We don't deserve this.

"Momma..." I heard Kierro's soft voice behind me. I turned to look at him, only to see him being carried by his father. I totally forgot about my own son because of this. I couldn't but feel a little guilty. I was too busy of mourning on my own, that I forgot about my son who's probably as devastated as me too.

A small smile slowly stretched on my lips. "Come here, baby. Let's go home, hmm?"
