“The best way to get to know someone is to figure out what the people around that person thinks of him/her.”
ANGELIQUE was shocked with Ascalaphus’ revelation. No one told her she had the freedom to leave the underworld.
“Think about it, my lady. Ever since you arrived in this mansion, you have not eaten anything grown from the underworld.”
She thought back to her meals. During her first breakfast, she was served with fruits, but because she was not used to eating those early in the morning, she left them uneaten and just drank her milk. Afterwards, she was served meat and other usual meals in the mortal world. “Now that you have said it, I remember Rheie saying the ingredients used for my food is imported from the mortal world.”
“Even the fruits that were served to you are imported. Even when we have plenty of it here in the orchard.”
