The Bond

LILY 

Kelvin and I locked eyes with each other, I can tell he felt the bond, or maybe not. He gazed away from me and continued with the wine in his hands. Soon, a blonde haired woman walked out of the blue, she hugged him tightly and clinged to him.

“Kelvin, I've missed you” she said, the romantic moment went on and I just stared, pissed off and hurt. We were mates, this never should've happened. Now he's here, kissing some random woman and my chest hurts from seeing it.

This was nothing but an obstruction to my plans. I needed an alliance not a lover. Kelvin gave me one last glance before he left with Blondie. They seemed close, I guess they were lovers.

In my last life I can recall Kelvin having a childhood friend who was very close to him. I heard she committed suicide on the same day I had him executed. I feel sorry for doing that, if I wasn't deceived by Darius, I guess they both would've ended with a good fate. 

It's been a few minutes since they both left and I just stay there at that spot, staring at the oblivion. Now I'm reborn, many things have changed. I wonder if Darius and Lila are currently together planning something evil against me or not.

A beeping noise distracted my thoughts and I picked up immediately. “What's up?” I greeted my beta who called.

“Luna, I just saw your fiance and Lila walk into a hotel together and they seemed romantic.” She explained.

“Which hotel?” I asked her. Of course I wasn't going to go there. I do not want to get myself killed like last time. I just wanted to keep evidence against cutting off my engagement with Darius.

The call ended and her texts came in. She just dropped the hotel's address for me.

I immediately boarded a taxi to go there. Calling a few guards to meet me at the hotel. If I want to catch them this time and get my evidence, I have to protect myself from getting killed again.

I arrived at the hotel soon enough. The air was cold and thick. It sent chills down my spine, reminding me of the past. What would've happened if I wasn't reborn? I asked myself. 

I waited a few minutes at the reception but my guards were nowhere to be found. I checked the time. They must be rounding up right now and I still have to gather evidence. I knew Darius wouldn't risk spending the night here so he doesn't get caught.

I decided to go in without waiting for any support. I already knew how this would play out, only if I avoided the mistake I made before by confronting them.. All I needed was just a little evidence..

I finally got to the suite, I checked the number my beta sent to me. She would've been here to join me but I'd sent her on an errand which couldn't wait. I tried to convince myself that I could do this without losing my life like last time.

The suite was just by the next corner, I trailer the numbers serially. Passing from suite 403 to the next and then I got to suite 409. I didn't even have to bulge and I could already hear the sounds of my sister's moans. But this time, I wasn't shocked or hurt. This was expected and they are both the people I hated the most. All I want right now is to get them exposed!

I'm never going to marry a cheating bastard who killed me once. Neither am I going to give him the chance to kill me again.

The door was opened halfway, I could tell how badly they couldn't wait to fuck each other. They wanted it so bad they didn't bother to lock the door properly.

As I brought out my mobile phone and engaged the camera to make a recording of them in bed, my mobile phone suddenly rang and with fear, I tried to run but kicked my foot on the floor. “Ahhh!” I cried out painfully.

“Who's there!” I heard Darius's voice yell out. Lila screamed immediately. 

My legs hurt badly and I could barely run. I managed to hasten my footsteps away but Darius got even closer and in no time, someone dragged my arms and pulled me into the next suite!

I cried to scream in fear, afraid that I was kidnapped but he'd covered my mouth with his huge palms preventing me from screaming. I struggled, pushing him hard and then I ended up getting thrown on the bed and covered with the duvet while he pounced on me.

I didn't get reborn just to get violated by an unknown man. I fought with every power in me. The room was dimly lit and I couldn't see his face.

The door banged hard and I could hear Darius's voice yelling. “Come right out. How dare you spy on me?” He kept yelling. 

He seemed to know I'd been dragged into this room and my body trembled. Am I going to get killed again? I couldn't help but ask in my thoughts as the banging continued.

“If you do not want to get caught, moan!” The man orders. I do not want to agree more but he was giving the right suggestion. I think it's the best thing to do to distract Darius from trying to come inside the room.

To make it all worse, it might seem that I'm the cheat instead. He finally let go of my mouth.

“Do it!” He orders . I could've sworn his voice sounded familiar.

“K… Kelvin?” I asked.

“Are you moaning or not?” He asked me. The knock outside becomes louder. “I'm going to break down this door if no one comes outside and gives me an explanation” he threatens.

“I don't know how to,” I said. 

I had no sex experience, Darius and I weren't intimate yet so I didn't know how it felt to moan.

“Oh come oh! Who doesn't know how to moan? Unless you're…” he cuts his sentences halfway. “Don't worry, I'll help…” 

I felt a warm sensation on my neck and I was forced to moan. Kelvin sucked my neck hard. I'm certain it forced a hickey. I moaned, not because I was asked to, but the sensation was too much to hold back in.

I could feel his hands sneaking into my thighs and caressing my bare skin.

“Ahhh….” I moaned out again, and continued. Even though Darius had left, I couldn't stop. I wanted Kelvin to stop. He was my nemesis, I shouldn't let him touch me. He yanked off my panties, my body almost betrayed me. I wanted it, my wolf wanted it more.

“Stop” I yelled out, realizing that this was a mistake and it wasn't bound to happen.

“Kelvin, stop!” I yelled out loudly again, placing my both hands on his chest and pushing him off. 

He stopped, stood up from the bed and turned on the lamp. I saw his bare chest, sweaty and huge. I bit my lower lips trying to hold back.

Kelvin walked towards the counter and grabbed a cigarette. I watched him lit it up and smoked. 

I struggled to put on my clothes while my mind drifted to what just happened between Kelvin and I. 

As I finished putting on my clothes, I headed towards the door without saying a word. “They're still in the hotel's premises, you can't go out yet” he said.

“Are you spying on me? How did you know I was going to come here?” I asked him.

“I happened to have a reservation and I saw you at the reception a while ago,” he said.

I turned, finally grasping the courage to face him

 “Oh? And you happened to book a suite right next to where my fiance and sister are?” 

“Yes,” he said slowly, taking another puff from his cigarette.

“Are you following me, Kelvin?” I asked.

“Something like that.” He replied nonchalantly and I scoffed. 

“Oh? So you are following me? And why is that?” 

“Because you belong to me, Lily. Your life belongs to me and I can't watch you risk it for some foolish reason…” 

“I do not belong to you, Kelvin!” I declared. His once warm eyes turned cold as he made it closer to me. “Even if I agree to give my life to you, you definitely do not own me.”

“Oh, if I don't own you, who does? Darius?”

I sighed softly as I stared into his emerald eyes. “No one owns me, Kelvin!” I said as I turned away, not until he grabbed my arms and pulled me closer, we were one breath away from each other. I could feel the bind acting up again as my chest began to pound fastly.
