To Kill Him

Lily's POV.

The feeling to kill him now grew stronger than ever as I paced my room while Kelvin made himself comfortable on my bed but I was way too pissed to even care. 

"You can't kill me yet." I told Kelvin who was still pointing the dagger at me again.

"And why not? I don't care about your revenge, I am here to get mine." He smirked and I sighed.

"How about we work together then?" I suggested and he looked like he was thinking it through.

"How?" 

"Help me crush your brother and my half-sister and I promise to let you kill me without a second thought afterwards." I answered and he got up from the bed, moving closer to me.

"Nice but what benefits do I gain?" He asked and I frowned, lost.

"Benefits?"

"Yes. You see, you are telling me to postpone my revenge plan for your sake so there has to be some benefits for my waiting." He explained.

"What do you want?" I went straight to the point and the side of his lips curled.

"You and this pack." He responded and my heart skipped a beat.

"What do you mean?"

"If you want me to both wait and help you, then you will have to get married to me and after your death, this pack officially becomes mine." 

His words made my blood turn cold.

This bastard was trying to play on my situation and there was no way in hell I was going to allow it.

Darius might have been a big time liar but I don't think he was completely wrong about this guy, he was really cunning.

"No."I refused and Kelvin smiled, unleashing the dagger again.

He pushed me against the wall so fast that I could barely react and held the dagger against my neck.

"I am sorry princess but I didn't quite hear you well, what did you say?" I could feel my skin tearing and hissed in pain as the dagger drawled blood.

His eyes were no longer playful and were now back to being deadly.

"I said no. There is no way in hell I would ever marry or give this pack to you."I half-yelled.

"Fine then. I will just kill you and invade this place with my armies." He said and I clenched my hands into fists, trying to push him away from me but he wasn't even budging.

"You dare not, you are bluffing."

"Fortunately not, princess and you know I can pull this off. It's one of the reasons you framed me, remember?" He chuckled, pausing as he leaned in so close that I could feel his breath on my face.

"Get away from me." I pushed harder, refusing to admit that he was right.

"Sure. After I cut off your head and who knows, maybe pin your death on Darius's head. Let's repeat history, using you this time." He threatened as he raised the dagger and attempted to cut me again.

I couldn't breathe, the air suddenly turned suffocating as I smelt my death on it's way but I couldn't die yet so.....

"I accept." The words came right out of my mouth before I could stop them and Kelvin stepped away, with a satisfied smirk on his face.

"Now, that's more like it, princess. You are also going to reject my stupid, little cousin as your mate." He ordered and I could only grit my teeth against one another.

Fine, if he wanted to play this game then two can do so. 

Kelvin might have thought that he won now but he only just made himself one of my enemies because I was so going to be the one to crush and end him again, right after he helped me to get rid of Dairus.

None of these Lycans would ever rule against the werewolves. I was going to make sure of that.

Kelvin left my room through the window afterwards while I collapsed on the bed, breathing a sigh of relief to be free of his toxic aura.

Just as I got up, deciding to take a bath, I heard a knock on my door and turned.

"Come in." I answered thinking it was Iris, only for the door to open, revealing Darius.

Anger burned through my veins as I could feel my expression tightening.

"Oh sweetheart! I was so worried." He tried touching me as he came close but I jerked away from his embrace, refusing the urge to punch him in the face.

Now wasn't the time, I just had to be patient.

"Baby?" He frowned. "Is everything good?"

"Yes. Just itchy." I lied. "So I need to take a shower, please excuse me." I dismissed him as he walked towards the bathroom but the idiot decided to jump in my front instead.

"No problem. I can help you wash off and you know...." He winked as he licked his lower lips.

Bile rushed to my throat as I stared at him, suddenly finding him very unattractive.

Was Lila now lacking in taste to now date such?

By the way, how could I have ever fallen for someone like him?

Darius kept trying to touch me and I lost it so I pointed towards the door.

"Get out." I roared and all colors drained out of his face.

"B.." He tried saying when I stomped my feet on the floor, hard.

"Now." He hurriedly went out and I knew I had to do something to pacify him later so he wouldn't feel threatened but right now, I was too irritated to care.

Later that night, I walked out of the banquet my dad had hosted to welcome Kelvin and his dad into the pack. Apparently they planned to sign some peace treaty.

I decided to go to my favorite spot when I perceived the most, alluring, beautiful smell ever.

My wolf came alive in my head as my legs took me towards the direction the smell was coming from.

Upon getting there, I saw a white-haired, standing under the moonlight, dressed in a robe that fitted his muscles.

He turned around, his eyes darkening as he growled.

"Mate."

It was just like I had been punched in the guts because how can he be my mate

when I already have one?

Besides, this never happened in the past life so what the hell was going on now?
