“Emily, there is something between us and I know you feel it too. You can’t deny it forever!” His warm breath on her burning skin set her body was on fire.

“I don’t feel anything” Emily pretended to feel nothing for him but her words were like a dagger through Brian’s heart.

Emily tried to push him away. Seeing her showing no interest in the conversation, Brian removed his hand from her shoulders.

The pain in Brian’s eyes made her heart sank. She instantly regretted her choice of words and tried to move towards him but he took a step away from her.

“I have a meeting to attend. You don’t need to come with me” Brian’s tone was as cold as ice berg.
