Chapter Ten

Mazelina

After a couple of hours of exploring this great city, we find ourselves at The Market Place. There’s everything you can think of: fruit, vegetables, so many varieties of meat and fish, sweets, clothing, jewellery, and homewares. Everything looks beautiful, not a stain or speck of dirt or stone out of place. So far, I’ve brought Daria, Alice, and Mom gifts. Maybe I should get something for Rush, for being so lovely, even if this place is strange.

“It’s so clean,” I whisper to Blaze.

“I feel like we’re in Gran’s house.” he chuckles, and I nod.

Gran loved her stories, but boy, was she strict!
