Chapter Thirty

"I was really bummed when you said you had to work for Thanksgiving, Lucy. I'm so glad Theo convinced you to come home." My mom spoke up, giving me a wide smile. She was seated opposite to me with my dad while I squirmed in my seat, feeling all tingly and hot with Theo's arms around my waist.

God, I missed his firm touch so much.

"I told you that boy is a keeper, didn't I?" My dad winked at me, making me blush a deep shade of red.

"Dad! Stop it." I groaned, feeling embarrassed.
