Chapter 14

Alice wheeled her suitcase from the airport and looked around, looking for her best friend. She pulled her cell from her bag and was about to call Megan when she heard a shriek. A familiar scream that was loud and made people turn their heads. Alice smiled and screamed, leaving her suitcase, and ran to Megan.

"You are finally here," Megan jumped.

"Yes," Alice added, hugging her.

"I missed you." Megan hugged her tighter.

"Can't breathe Meg," Alice groaned.

"Good. Serves you right for being away from home for so long." Megan finally let go and Alice sighed and smiled at her.

"I'm back, aren't I?" Alice tucked her hair behind her ears.

"And I'm happy. Come on, let's go." Megan squealed and clapped her hands as Alice walked to get her suitcase.

Alice and Megan walked out of the airport and made their way to Megan's apartment. Alice was a week early to surprise her family. Riley was getting married in two weeks. Her family thought Alice was only going to come two days before the wedding.
