Chapter 32: Timothy's Defense

It wasn't enough that Victoria constantly tried to convince Charlotte to cancel the divorce request; Timothy was also so dramatic.

When Timothy and two of his lawyers arrived, he acted like the victim of Charlotte's sudden determination to leave him. He cried and questioned, "I gave you everything, my love; a house, a penthouse, luxurious jewelry, and you want to divorce me over a mere suspicion? You won't even talk to me properly!"
