I had called her friend last night and made sure he would never meet up with Emily again. I have enough problems to deal with as it is and the least I want is having to see articles in my board meeting and Milan rejecting my offer.

She even took her ring off and as much as that angered me, I let it slide.

If she has lost it, I'll just buy her a new one. I have more important business to deal with right now anyway.

I was sure it was handled but as I woke up, Jake was forwarding me tabloids on how my marriage was on the rocks which has led to my “wife “ going wild within a month.

“Get the PR. I need all the articles down within ten minutes and hell, I’m pressing charges.” That was how my morning was ruined.

I took it out on the root cause of all this mess.

My so-called wife.

I don’t even know what came over me last night. But I’m convinced I did it for the company. I love this company more than I let on. I mean look at me, Married to a goddamn gold digger just like “her".
