13: Amusement Park

Zeux' P.O.V.

When I was about to get out of my car, I took a deep breath. I'm standing in front of Vanessa's house, imagining how I'd react if I saw her. I'm not sure why I'm feeling this way, but I can't stop myself. I'm nervous right now for no apparent reason. I sighed and knocked on the door. It took her a few minutes to open the door. When I saw her wearing skinny jeans and a fitted off-the-shoulder crop top, my mouth dropped open. Her collarbone is prominent, and her skin is flawless. I gulped and instantly smiled at her.

"So...are you ready?" I asked, trying not to shake my voice.

She gives a nod. "Yes, but remember what I said. I don't have money, so you'll have to pay for everything. I'm just here to be with you, okay?"

I pause but smile. "Y-yes, I'm the one who will pay for everything. You just have to be with me," I said, my heart racing. Yes. She only needs to be with me. That's all I want.

She smiles and raises her brows. "All right, it's clear now. Where are we going?"
