"Come here." Oliver kept his cell phone on the edge of the bed, then looked at Sophia with a flat gaze.

"Sir, I'm really sorry about what happened earlier, I really didn't mean it." Sophia said.

Oliver just didn't respond, instead he looked at Sophia's body from top to bottom to confirm her condition.

Oliver saw a bandage wrapped around Sophia's knee. Guilt now settled in Oliver's heart, he shouldn't have told his girl to jump. Look at the result now, not only he was injured but Sophia too. How stupid he was for failing to catch his girl's body.

Sophia didn't lift her face at all, she knew Oliver was watching her and it scared her to death and made her want to cry.

She couldn't imagine if she was really fired by Oliver, of course her mother would be affected. Her mother had worked hard to save money to come to this city, hoping that their lives would be better. But now, that dream might come to an end due to her own actions.
