Chapter 12

“You always wanted her to die maybe she killed herself. That’s why we can’t find her.” Alex said to Abhay.

“Maybe my sister is dead,” Alex told himself in low voice.

Alex remembered the things this shameless couple did with his sister. He felt his heart is kept in the fire. He roared at Abhay.

“You, It’s you. Remember my words Abhay if she is dead or something happens to her you and your lovely fiancé will be responsible for that.”

“If she is dead then you and your lovely fiancé killed her."

"You actually don't remember her, right? Who is Emily or whom did you love like hell? Hmmm.” Alex shouted at Abhay.

Abhay is too shocked to see Alex like this. He never behaved like this. He didn’t even raise his voice and now he is shouting like a mad man.

God, I'm scared right now.

I wish he could kill Abhay and Mia.

Abhay and Alex were childhood friends. Alex's financial condition wasn’t good, so when Abhay became the CEO of Mehra’s Co-operation he offered a job to Alex, to become his assistant.

Alex gladly accepted the job of the CEO’s assistant. Now he regrets being his assistant.

Emily, his sister used to call him brother and she isn’t here today with him. He misses hearing her calling him brother.

One day when Mia and her evil friends Ivy and Iris were bulling Emily like always. Alex was there to save Emily.

In the school when they were bulling her, Ivy pushed Emily. She was going to fall and hit her head on a sharp rock. Alex saw this and rushed towards Emily. Emily was lucky enough that Alex reached there on time and held her in his arms before she could fall and hit her head on the rock.

Alex took Emily from there to his class, made her sit in his class, and gave a bottle of water to her. Emily gladly accepted the water and gulped down a mouth full of water. She returned the bottle to Alex.

Alex still remembers that sweet little girl.

“Thank you brother for saving me”, Emily said in a childish voice. Her eyes were clear and shining like a star.

After that incident, Alex became her brother and tried his best to save Emily from every problem. He was happy when he saw Emily and Abhay together but who knew that the future would take such a turn that he had to see his sister dying every day.

“What are you trying to say, Alex? I never hated her nor did I want her to die. Don’t you know me?” Abhay asked in a low voice. “And what do mean by I don’t remember Emily is or who did I love?” Asked Abhay again.

“I love Mia and I do know that,” Abhay told Alex.

“Yeah, you love Mia but still you are looking for Emily. Why? You said you never wanted her to die. Huh, then who was the person who said her to die in the hospital?”

“If you didn’t hate then why did you do those things to her? You humiliated her every time you see her." Alex was full of rage.

“You have lost your humanity with your memory. You have been cruel and humiliated a girl whom you have lov….” Before Alex could finish his words the door of the office was opened.

Abhay was shocked and whereas Alex was like a time bomb that could explode any time after seeing the person who is going to enter the office.
