CHAPTER 2 Her First Kiss

Allyna has a higher tolerance for alcohol than Mcki, who gets drunk quickly.

"So... what made you drink?" she asked casually, settling comfortably on the couch while keeping her gaze on Mcki.

"Hmmm. It's a long story," McKi replied, looking into her glass. It didn't seem unreasonable to share her story with a stranger, especially since this person had let her stay.

"We have all the time, but of course, only if you're comfortable-"

"My dad's getting married," Mcki interrupted, taking a sip of her drink.

"My dad is only 33. He was just 15 when he had me. I'm grateful because, unlike my mother, Dad stood by me," she added.

"So you're 18 now," In her calculation. And she is turning 24, not bad.

Mcki nodded in response.

"You don't want him to be with another woman besides your mother. I understand. You feel bad for your mom." Allyna took a drink as well.

"My mom was away for so long that I can't even remember her. I was still young back then. Who am I to stop my dad from loving again?"

Allyna listened sincerely, despite generally not being interested in others’ personal stories.

But for Mcki, this moment was different. Something about her drew her in like a magnet.

She took another sip.

"Especially when he deserves it. He gave everything he could. He did everything to make my life easier, so I wouldn't put myself in a position to hurt him," McKi explained deeply, playing with her shot glass.

"For Dad, I will accept it wholeheartedly. Soon I'll get used to it," she added.

Mcki had never been this open with anyone except her best friend, Oli, and this was the first time. She barely knew Allyna or her name, and they had only just met.

Though she didn't know her well, for some mysterious reason, her heart felt at ease around Allyna.

As time goes by, perhaps because of the alcohol, Allyna's feelings are getting more intense. Her gaze seems to deepen, as if she can see into McKi's innermost thoughts.

Allyna didn't think twice and hesitantly stood up, approached, and sat beside Mcki. Mcki just kept watching her move until she got very close.

Allyna lowered what she was holding on the table. She adjusted herself so she could give Mcki her full attention.

Mcki remained silent but was alert. The woman's presence was overwhelming. She's physically attracted to Allyna, and, unexpectedly, that feeling is even stronger as the random woman helps her manage her emotions.

From Mcki's eyes, Allyna's gaze dropped to her arm. She ran her finger over Mcki's smooth, fair skin.

That sent a shiver through Mcki's system. The feeling was so foreign to her that she couldn't even recognize or define what it exactly was.

"I can make you forget everything that bothers you tonight, at least. If you could let me..." She is saying this while continuing to run her fingers along McKi's arm.

Mcki couldn't speak. She didn't know what to say. She should say something. But she couldn't think straight.

Allyna's vocabulary didn't include the word 'no' or the concept of accepting rejection, so she didn't wait for Mcki's approval or response.

She brought her hand to Mcki's nape. She pulled her closer. She captured her lips with a kiss.

"Ahmm.." You can feel the intensity in her moan as she kisses Mcki.

Mcki was stunned and couldn't process the rapid events happening around her.

It was her first kiss, stolen by someone. She wanted to protest, but her consciousness seemed trapped in some kind of energy.
