Chapter 21- I said, you're mine

Fredrik did not bother to look at Henry who had fallen to the ground. Instead, he knelt on the bed on one knee and bent down to pull Eliza up. He patted her anxiously on her back, but not affectionately.

"Ahem..."

Eliza coughed in pain as she survived the ordeal. The corners of her watery eyes were red. It felt great to breathe some fresh air.

She then smiled for no reason and she could not control it.

Fredrik stared at the clear bruises on her neck with his gloomy eyes. The fingerprints on her neck were especially clear. He thought that if he had come a little later she would have been strangled alive.

Henry had also cleansed himself of anger. He then got up and stared blankly at Eliza's painful appearance. He could not help but clench his hands.

"What are you doing? Go get the doctor here!." said Fredrik in a cold voice.

Henry looked at Eliza before turning away and leaving the room.
