“Don’t f*cking try me, Camila! Don’t f*cking try me! One more wrong word and I will have you thrown out of this office this second!” I said sternly while she went quiet immediately and looked at me like I had just stabbed her, and she was dying.

“I can’t believe this, how did we get here, baby?” She let out softly, and I watched as the tears welled up in her eyes.

That really broke me and I couldn’t stand seeing her so sad and crying because of me. I felt guilty, so I reached out to hold her, but she quickly moved back. She looked at me again, shook her head before grabbing her bag and then walked out.

“Cam, wait! Cam, baby!” I called out, but she didn’t stop or look back.

The door slammed loudly behind her and I crashed back into my chair. The stress was really getting to me, and it felt like I was going to break into two. I ran my hands through my hair in a hurry, trying to calm myself, but it didn’t work.

I couldn’t even storm out of her and go after her. I know Camila well
