"A promise?" Hector mumbled lowly. How could we promise to not fight for her and Alexander when we knew the consequences?

"Yes a promise." Maverick said loudly. I tried to hold in my anger from him clearly listening in and instead forced a smile towards Ariella that I knew didn't reach my eyes.

"I promise that I won't break you guys up. I ju." I stiffened as pain had me whimpering and slowly looking down. The gold glowing bond on my wrist had me paling.

"A bond." I mumbled lowly as I stared at the tattoo like thing that I never agreed to.

"Alexander created a new bond that doesn't require you to know about it and that is unbreakable for everyone." Maverick said lowly.

My chest tightened as I stared at the bond that just sealed my fate.

"When did he create that?" Ariella asked quickly. I slowly looked up at her with helplessness and hope that I knew was false but I couldn't help it.

"When time reset my love. I needed to make sure he didn't betray us."
