Chapter 65: He's been caught

Everyone was waiting in anticipation as we waited for some news. Everything was put on hold while security searched the hospital. Steve was quietly sitting there looking around, he didn’t even look at me. My father was glaring at Steve, it was a very tense situation.

After far too long of a awkward wait, we heard announced on the PA system, “Code White has ended”.

I looked around the room, that’s it they don’t even say if they gave up or did they find him, I looked up at the nurse,

“Does that mean they caught him?”

She looked around the room, “I’d say odds are good since it hasn’t been very long, but don’t get your hopes up. I will find out for sure for you.”
