Dinner is full of shit.
Here I was sitting beside the man beast, Alpha Williams. I had to keep a fake smile on my face and watch as the members of the pack gush about how pretty I looked or how 'graceful’ William looked. I felt a bile rise up my throat when his arms encircled my waist, pulling me closer to him.“A perfect doll, in my opinion.” William voiced out proudly. I felt sick to my stomach when the pack members agreed with him. A perfect doll that would cause his death. How beautiful. William was dressed in a blue royal coat and a crown on his head while I was dressed similarly. I watched as the members of the pack threw compliment upon compliment at the man and he soaked it all in proudly. Williams eyes was stuck on me ever since the beginning of the dinner, I could feel gaze on me every second of the dinner, like he couldn’t wait to have me. I shuddered at the thought of him going down with me.I had to do something and fast. As much as I might loose my virginity to William, I wouldn’t do it without putting up at fight and a fight he will get. “Why aren’t you eating? Don’t you like the taste of the food?” William’s voice brought me out of my thoughts. I snapped my head to look at him and his face was impossibly close to mine. I gulped down the lump in my throat when his gaze fell to my lips. Immediately looking away. “No, I’ll eat now.” I responded, thanking the goddess that my voice came out as strong and firm as I would have liked. I began to pick aimlessly at the plate, keeping up the stupid doll-like facade I had to put on. I looked up and my eyes met briefly with someone’s. The maid from earlier whose name Is Ava. Her eyes met mine briefly and I looked away, understanding exactly what she meant. The knife was tied tightly by my thigh and covered by the long dress I wore. I glanced by my side only to see William staring at me with lust. His eyes taking in every inch of my body. I shuddered inwardly, wishing he could take his eyes somewhere else. I silently hoped and prayed the moon goddess would help me out of this one but it didn’t look like that was going to happen but theagain, this might just be good for me, with how he’s lusting after my body, it will be easy to shove the wolfsbane knife deep into his chest. Just a few more hours of keeping up this facade and we will be alone. I had to come up with a plan so I won’t have to loose my virginity to him and also avenge my family. William placed his hand against mine gently, I looked at him, a smile laid on hislips. “Eat.” He says but it sounded more like an order. I nodded, picking the veggies with the fork and ate even if it was truly the last thing I wanted to do. I sat there, eating my food and keeping up the smile which by now was strained on my face, shuddering internally with every stroke of Williams’ fingers against my back. Occasionally, he would lean closer to me just to whisper incoherent things in my ear. Suddenly the dinning table was filled with quiet whispers, the maids seemed to be on high alert as they all stood still. “Young master just barged in! He doesn’t look happy.” I heard someone whisper and felt my heart beat jump from a fifty to a hundred. Who is the young master anyways? The whole dinning table went impossibly silent that if a pin was to drop, one would hear it loud and clear. Heavy footsteps were heard coming from the other side of the long table. I heard someone gasp but couldn’t see what it was about. I could feel the odd tension radiating throughly through the room and I couldn’t help but wonder who exactly the young master is and why people seemed to uptight about it. I glanced beside me and saw Willam, jaw locked, his grip on his cutlery tightened, knuckles almost white, from anger? I had no idea. My heartbeat quickened as I perceived the most enticing/delicious scent ever. It was just too thick ,I could feel the scent on my tongue. I sniffed, looking around to see what and suddenly came to a halt. My eyes locked with someone’s. The same man from my dreams. I felt my breathe hitch as soon as I laid eyes on him, his sea blue eyes locked with mine. He stood before me in a grey sports jacket, matching it with a black cargo pant and black stompers. The entire table went silent, it felt like it was just him and I there, eyes locked on each other. My wolf recognized him as my mate.My mate. His gaze strayed from me to Willams who was sitting beside me and just like that, his entire demeanor changed. He looked murderous. Eyes blazing red from anger, jaw locked. “What are you doing here, son?” Willam asked, voice coming out gruff and low. His voice alone would send shivers down the spine of many men. I felt my heart stop beating for a moment. Did I hear that correctly? Did William just call my mate his son? I snapped my eyes at the young master whose eyes was trained on the hand William had placed on mine. I swallowed the lump in my throat. What the fuck? Can’t I really have a break? How can the moon goddess do this to me? The same person I have vowed to kill, his son is my mate? The same person I’m about to be mated to? I looked back at the man whose eyes seemed to impossibly grow harder, eyes piercing through my soul as he stared me down. I wondered if William could see what was going on. If he could tell that his son is my mate. I gently reached down beneath the table, pulling my gown up about to hold the knife. William son looks murderous than William himself, after all, the fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree. What if he decides to attack me regardless of the fact that I’m his mate. It’s not something that’s impossible. My grip tightened around the knife, watching my mate walk rather slowly yet dangerously towards me. I felt my breathe hitch as he neared me slowly. He stood right in front of me, his gaze shifting from me to his father. "As the Alpha next in line, I challenge you, Alpha Williams of the blue moon pack to a fight, Whoever wins get to be the Alpha of the blue moon pack.”Epilogue ~One year after. The sun seemed exceptionally bright today. I shifted uncomfortably, sweat beads formed on my forehead, I lifted my arm, wiping my forehead rather awkwardly. A groan escaped me and I stopped, allowing the damaged weed fall from my hand. I straightened my back, wincing slowly on hearing the cracks. “Come inside now, your skin looks too red already.” A familiar voice says behind me. I palmed my lips into a thin line, groaning slightly as I stood up, my knees cracked painfully hard. Okay, maybe I’ve been kneeling down here, uprooting these damn weeds for way too long.“You know, we have a gardener that can do this. It’s literally his job description.” Vanessa says, eyeing my body, her nose scrunched slightly in annoyance. “You know, gardening is good to let out all these stress you’re carrying. Maybe you should join me tomorrow. I still have to clear that part.” I gestured at the other part of the garden that’s still undone. I glanced at Vanessa who was gazi
Elena~Here I was standing in what I would call Jason’s secret. Thousand of boxes were piled against each other. Mitchell had told me about this early this morning , she said her father would always go behind the pack house and I connected it with what I read in the book. I was able to tell Jake about the book Mitchell gave me but he didn’t seem that bothered about it but did tell me to keep the book and that everything would be sorted today. I decided to trail down this path when Jason and Jake got busy but not before telling Jake where I was going to. I still had no idea what Jake was planning but with how confident he seemed. I knew everything would be sorted soon. I heaved deeply, looking at the thousands of boxes stacked inside the boy’s quarters. There were thousand and this is where Jason was keeping it. Keeping them. This is it. What was written in the book is here. I rushed to the boxes piled against each other, immediately carrying one of it down, it was exceptionally heav
Elena~Here I was, sat between Mitchell and Jake. Alpha Jason and the Luna were also sitting, watching the maid dish the food.“How long do you plan on staying?” The Luna asked, gesturing at the maid to stop dishing her food. I furrowed my eyebrows at her question, remembering Mitchell’s had said to not stay long.“A couple of days at most and we’ll be out of your hair.” Jake says, chuckling slightly “You’re welcome to stay as long as you want, Jake. After all your father, the late Alpha Williams was a close friend of mine. Isn’t that right, darling?” Jason said, eyes stuck on his mate, emphasizing on the words a little too intently.I didn’t miss how she flinched even though she tried hard not too. A smile quickly masking her face “Of course, they’re welcome to stay as long as they want.” She replied, voice curt and sharp.“Haha…Thank you for your hospitality but we won’t be able to take much of your time as I also have a pack to run.” Jake says and Jason laughed.“Of course, I und
Elena ~“Welcome back, Elena.” Alpha Jason, Luna and their daughter stood right outside the pack house to welcome us. The alpha had the biggest smile on his face. He had a full regalia on while his wife was dressed in the traditional Luna outfit, they both seemed very different from how they were. His gaze fell on me, taking every inch of my appearance. “Thank you , Alpha Jason for welcoming us into your humble abode so nicely.” Jake says, interrupting the weird look Jason was giving me. Well, it wasn’t that weird but having him smile like he didn’t just trade my life made me squirm uncomfortably. Watching him and his mate look at me like I wasn’t traded cheaply only stirred up something bitter in me.“Please come in, I’m sure you’re both tired and need to rest.” The Luna says, hand grazing my arm lightly as we walked into the pack house, like I said, things have become very different here. The pack house for one was looking more nicer? It wasn’t like this months back but now, it l
Elena~“Are you ready?” Jake asked. I finished zipping my bag, standing up properly. “Yeah, I am.” I replied, watching as his eyes darted around.“You still haven’t told me what your plan is. I don’t think showing up in the Crystal pack without a plan is actually smart.” I say and he nodded, walking towards me with a smile on his face.“You trust me, right?” He asked like I wouldn’t bare my neck to him and let him do as he please without second guessing it.“Of course.” He palmed his lips into a thin line, bringing his hand up to caress my cheek “just trust me, we have to finish up what this is with Jason and the only way we can get into his territory right now is pretend like we are still friends with him. For that, I’ll need you by my side.” He says. That’s the only thing I’ve been able to understand in this whole thing. He hasn’t slipped out about the plan. All I know is that he’s been pretty secretive about it. Of. Course, I know it isn’t about him not trusting me but perhaps it’
Elena~Three months after…“Elena! Elena!” Someone called out my name. I placed the watering can on the floor, removing the hat on my head as I turned to see who was calling out my name. A smile graced my lips as soon as I got a whiff of the tiny footsteps rushing my way.“Careful, you might fall.” I say just as the child reached me, hugging my legs tightly. I giggled, kneeling to hug her.“What’s wrong bey? Shouldn’t you be with Lily?” I asked the child, placing my fingers under her chin, tilting her head upwards slightly to meet my eyes.“She’s being rude and won’t share her plushie with me.” She pouted and I smiled. “Now, why won’t she share her plushie with you? What did you do wrong?“ I asked, the sharp glint in her eyes telling me she had done something.“Beatrice!” Someone yelled agitatedly. I pursed my lips into a thin line on perceiving the scent of an anxious person.“Oh, thank the goddess.” The woman who had been calling out to the child said, slapping her forehead slightl
