After speaking with Jac, Dorry and I wasted no time driving to the location he had given us. It was a remote place—a hacienda owned by Norma and Hernan.

As we neared the property, the tension in the air was unmistakable. We could hear the echoes of gunfire, no doubt coming from the firearms of Norma’s men and the police.

When we arrived, officers quickly stopped us, making sure we didn’t get too close to the scene of the chaos. We didn’t push back, but my eyes immediately searched for Jac—who was now running toward Dorry and me. He looked anxious.

“Sir Nelson, you shouldn’t have come. It’s dangerous. Norma refuses to surrender,” he said, panting.

“Jac, I couldn’t just sit at home and wait for news,” I replied.

He didn’t want to give me the address in the first place, but I insisted.

I turned to look at Dorry. She was clutching my hand tightly, clearly just as nervous as I was about everything happening around us.

“Your aunt has gone mad, sir. She won’t even listen to Hector. She said

  • Nelson de Vedra: The Outcast Billionaire   (Vianna May and Diego) Chapter 52

More than a month has passed. I still haven’t won Vianna May’s heart. I can’t even get near her because every time she sees me, she has a panic attack. The only time I can touch her is when she’s asleep.I don’t know how to comfort her. She’s anxious, terrified, and often not in her right mind. She trembles and hides at the sound of my voice. These past days, she’s been like a madwoman—screaming endlessly.I can’t even step fully into the room before something flies at me. Sharp, biting words pour from her mouth. I can’t understand her anymore. She doesn’t want to see me. All she ever talks about is Diego.I’m holding myself back from hurting her again, but honestly, my patience is hanging by a thread. I can’t let all my efforts to get her back go to waste.I don’t want to force myself on her. But every time I let her do what she wants, I fear she’ll grow used to life without me. I can’t allow that.“Vianna May, love…” I call softly but firmly from the doorway. She’s already shaking

My body stiffened when I saw Vianna May lying on the floor, bleeding. My eyes widened as I followed the trail of blood from her head. One of my men was holding her wrist.“Boss…” my man called again, snapping me back to reality.“My love,” I stammered as I rushed toward her with heavy steps. My hands trembled, hesitant to touch her. I couldn’t explain what I felt. I had hurt her again.“Forgive me, Vianna May. I didn’t mean it!” I whispered as I gently caressed her cheek.“Sorry… sorry…” I kept repeating, my tears falling with every word.I shoved aside the man who was seated beside her, still holding her wrist. He fell back, but I heard no protest—he quickly stood and stepped away.Carefully, I carried her into the cabin. Blood flowed endlessly from her head. All I could do was sob while cradling her in my arms. I felt useless, helpless. The only thing I could do was hold her close.I cupped the back of her head, trying to stop the blood from gushing out.“Boss…” one of my men called

I couldn’t stop the tears from welling up in my eyes—tears of rage and hatred. I’d wasted so much time looking for her. And now it was too late.It hurt so much. How stupid I had been. I loved a woman who never truly loved me. More questions kept piling up in my head. My mind was a mess. I didn’t know what to do anymore.“Why, Vianna May!” I shouted. My whole body trembled with anger.“Let me go…” she pleaded. “You’re hurting me, Romeo!”I wanted to let her go. I didn’t want to hurt her, but my hands refused to release her. I couldn’t let her go, even though she was already in pain.“Let me go, Romeo! Leave me and my husband alone! We can’t bring back the past; it’s over. You ended it! Please, Romeo!”“If I ended it, then why am I here now?” I said bitterly, a twisted smile on my lips. “Vianna May… did you ever really love me? Why… why was it so easy… why so quick for you to forget me?!” I asked desperately, barely able to form the words I wanted to say.“That’s the problem, Romeo! Y

My feet felt nailed to the ground. After more than a year of searching, she was finally standing in front of me. I clenched my fists. She looked so happy—her smile wide and bright—while I stood here, sad and burning with rage because she had left me. Then, I saw their matching smiles fade as they glanced at each other. My breathing grew heavy. The man with her—his eyes fierce, like a coiled predator—I wanted to smash his face right there. My fury flared when I saw their hands intertwined. Yet after a moment, I found myself grinning. No matter how tightly they clung to each other, it wouldn’t matter. She would be mine again, whether she wanted it or not. They stepped back slowly. I shook my head and scanned the area. They mirrored my movement. My men were already positioned around us, waiting for my signal. The moment they tried to run, they’d know exactly what to do.I grinned again when I saw fear flicker across their faces as they looked around. I took slow, deliberate steps toward

My anger flared as I read the messages from my men, but underneath it, a strange excitement stirred. The longing to see Vianna May again tightened inside me.“Boss, we spotted Diego outside the mall. We’re following them and making sure they don’t notice.”The message came with pictures. All I could see was a back, but I knew it was Diego—I'd recognize the way his shoulders squared anywhere. I’d watched him before, how he fixed that look on Vianna May, a look that said something I couldn’t stand. Jealousy rose every time he was near her.I wanted to stab his eyes out. I want to smash his face. My jealousy had spilled over onto Vianna May, and I’d lost her for it. I couldn’t change what I’d done. I couldn’t undo what happened. All I could do now was take her back from Diego.I stared at the photos again, smiled, and gripped my phone until my knuckles ached. He’d bought so many things—proof he wasn’t alone. The suspicion that Vianna May was truly with him hardened into something hotter

ROMEO“What’s the news?” I asked the moment my man climbed out of the car. He was one of the men I’d stationed around town to track down Vianna May.I’ve been searching for her for over a year. I scoured all of Paris, but she was nowhere. I assumed she’d gone abroad—she took our passports, the plane tickets, and even the money I’d saved for our trip to Paris. But she wasn’t there. I couldn’t find her.I’m going mad. A storm of emotions consumes me—worry, yes, but anger and fury burn brighter.Everyone connected to Vianna May is under surveillance—her house, her friends.I’m sure Myrna doesn’t know where she is—she wasn’t around when Vianna May vanished, but I want certainty. And then there’s Lenny, the chatterbox. That woman unsettles me. She’s the one who saw Vianna May with me and tattled the night I got drunk with flirtatious Roselyn. Most of my stakeouts are at Diego’s office and house, but my men can’t pin him down. He’d barely returned from Canada a few months ago before vanishi
