CHAPTER 84: Please let me apologize

~Few weeks later ~

The past few weeks has gone down smoothly for Adele. It was a break from work and stress which was well deserved.

Everyday, she sat by Carlo's bedside, talking to him about random things in the evening and reading out books to him in the morning. There's still no certainty yet, to confirm he'd be regaining consciousness anytime soon.

As usual, Brenda had long gone to work, Alvin was out and except for the chief butler and few other in-house workers, Adele was alone once again. It's not something she felt though, as she's always been the indoor kinda woman.

Also, having to see Carlo daily, waking up by his side on many occasions, talking and reading to him, aided greatly in healing her one-time broken heart completely.

It's a lovely Wednesday morning, Adele was reading Carlo a book again and she wondered if he was really hearing her as it's often said about coma patients.
