“Zeke” The door of the office swung open and Lucas stepped in, a bounce on his gait. “What?” Zeke narrowed his eyes. “I have both good news and bad news” Lucas said, the smile on his face faltering. “Good news first” “Ivy is healing the pups! She has a dormant wolf” Lucas replied. The door swung open, almost breaking it out of it's position. “Grandma,” She gasped, eyes blurring with tears. “Ivy” Grandma took slow but steady steps towards her before engulfing her in her embrace “Child” She sniffed. Ivy retreated from the embrace after a moment, forcing out a smile. “It's okay to cry Ivy, you can't be strong everytime,” “My parents.” Grandma froze. “What are you not telling me about them?” She asked. “What did you hear?” Her grandmother's fragile voice flew into her ears. “That's not what I asked?” She yelled making the old woman flinch slightly. “Ivy, you have to calm down. What happened to you?” “She's hiding it from you” “She knows the truth and refused to tell you” Those were the words that echoed in her ears as she took predatory steps towards her grandmother. “Your wolf” Grandma breathed out. “Yes my Wolf.
