CHAPTER 26

"Zyska…" he said moments later after the long silence between us.

"Hmm?"

"Do you think, I am really the one for you?"

I frowned and lifted my head to see him.Nagtatanong ang mga abo niyang mata. "Yes," I answered him without hesitation.

"I am? Really?" tanong pa niya ulit. "Do you see me in your future?"

I nodded my head, without breaking my eyes on him. "You're my husband now and I might go crazy if we're going to separate in our two years of our deal."

"Hindi naman mangyayari 'yon," seryoso na sambit niya. "ako na ang nagsasabi sa'yo, ayoko ring maghiwalay tayo."

Umayos ako ng upon sa hita niya. I am now sitting on his lap comfortably and encircled my arms around his neck. Habang ang kamay niya'y nasa bewang ko pa rin.

"I like you, Beau," pag-amin ko sa kanya. "I know we already know our stand in ourselves right now, but I am telling you again that I like you. It's more than like… alam kong hindi lang 'to simpleng pagkagusto.
